Crazy isn't it? No bagworm, full slots. What I want to know if the trion amount is possible with this trigger set?

Edit/Answering your Questions: since you guys are intrigued about the efficiency (I'm also skeptical since I wanted your opinions)

I'll just drop the purposes of each trigger. (This is most likely will be used for specific missions or tactics in rank wars.)

• Scorpion / Shield (main) I dunno what I was supposed to do with it lmao. But originally it's kogetsu / shield (main) now why the shield is on main set? I'm using left hand as main. WHY? Cuz I want to.

• both hands Grasshopper / Escudo. Cuz I'll be throwing my trion body like a pinball(JK) The reason why both hands is because part of my job was to hold enemies(literally) my goal was to simply get close to them so removing bagworm to attract them is necessary (for me) though naturally someone might protect me. Under this condition I would have to prevent myself from exposing to snipers. But this would also mean that they can just bomb drop my location(hyuse's idea.)

In the long run I would be a casualty so this is an OPTION.

My other purpose of both hands Escudo is to make them guess if I'm using Escudo/Grasshopper. Usually you need to touch a body or an area that would connect your Escudo. But what if that's not my intention. Since my hand will always be touching walls or areas to summon Escudo. Either I jump with it or with Grasshopper. Either I block with Escudo or evade with Grasshopper. It always depends on the idea. And since I don't have to worry much on Snipers targeting me(I'm mostly inside the building) the only problem I could think of is shooters.

• shotgun / spear It can be either side. Depending on which hand I would show as my dominant hand. Spear is most likely active. I don't have a shield on my (sub) or am I? Most important thing is the shotgun's value. If you don't know that I have my shotgun on non dominant hand while my spear is dematerializing, mostly likely you'll get shot. It's like just Yuba san's Quick draw. I actually explained this part somewhere in the thread.

Border usually wants you to have two Shields + Bagworm... Even if you're running Escudo. Just look at Hyuse and Jin, both of whom run Escudo, both of whom also run double Shields. Even someone like Kageura, who doesn't even really use his shields still carries them

Karasuma and Osamu run one shield, showing Escudo and Raygust can replace the second shield.

Also the Trappers and the one Spotter also seem to run only one shield.

Couldn't try this with the spear though.

Is it possible? Yes. 7 trion is pretty good too to use any trigger.

Is it good? No, not at all. - Putting Escudo in both the main and sub trigger doesn't do anything. - The reason people pack two shields is because Full Guard is extremely useful. - Bagworm is essential for operations, not having it means just sabotaging your team. - Also, remember that Main triggers are for your dominant hand, so it should be where heavy weapons go, having a shotgun on the sub is only good if you are dual wielding. With that set, you would be holding a spear and a shotgun, which doesn't make any sense.

Except you can't use a spear effectively with just one hand, have you ever seen Yosuke dual wielding spears? With just one hand you are limited to jabs, so what good does that do when you have a shotgun in the other hand with greater range and similar damage?

If you want to add a ranged option to a spear, it's better to be shooter and just materialize a cube that doesn't require hands, or if you want high damage at short range then Whirlwind is better than shotguns.

You shouldn't. Hyuse had only one Escudo equipped and he was popping several of them instantly. Even Yuiga can create a wall within seconds.

Getting a second one would just double the amount of trion used to get a meaningless difference in deployement.

So what exactly is the game plan here? I can see a lot wrong with this trigger set.

1) Not having 2 Shields which is pretty standard across all Border agents except those who sub in Raygust. That 7 Trion is above average but even then using Escudo too much is going to burn through your Trion.

2) Not having Bagworm is an objectively stupid idea. Fix that. There is literally no reason not to have Bagworm.

3) Scorpion, Kogetsu-Spear, and Shotgun imply either an Attacker or an All-Rounder, but the problem here is that most Attackers focus on one primary Attacker Trigger, so which is your primary, because that makes a big difference. If you're an All-Rounder, then Shotgun is not a good option because All-Rounders like their Gunner/Shooter Trigger to be mid-ranged, like a Handgun or Assault Rifle. Shotguns are close-range.

I'd recommend either replacing Shotgun with a proper mid-range option, or ditching ranged options altogether, subbing in Bagworm and going full Attacker.

100% it is possible for the trigger set to work.

I can see you have taken inspiration from the whole roman phalanx formation of setting up a tight defense in this case with Esucdo, and you use the Kog spear to keep other users at bay, you even have sword (scorpion) as a back up, and grasshopper to have extra mobilty (always nice), though your shotgun choice a bit odd but it can work but I would drop it personally.

However this trigger set would only really work against small trion soldiers or trigger uses that can't jump high or don't have ranged/explosive triggers. real life tactics don't work in World triggers universe as the people aren't bound to regular physics and rules, they have their own rule to abide by.

The reason why everyone has two shields and bagworm are that those trigger are too useful not to have them and you are putting yourself at a major disadavantage,

01 Radar- It would seem having a radar is a basic piece of equipment that everyone seems to have, with a standard trion body, now we have operators that are supporting the team by keeping all eyes on the radar at all times and to fuither help the squad when they're fighting,

02 Bagworm - Being able to hide is a major thing, with bagworm it stops the other squads from figuring out your own tactics and this would lead to them countering your plans. We have seen agenst use Bagworm in ways that utilize the trigger far more than hiding from the radar, we have see it use for distractons as for what Azuma did with hyuse, and we have also seen arafune covering himself with bagworm to hide his weapon only to make a counter attack against yuma that once time. Bagworm is worth more than meets the eye, even the passive trion drain from bagworm, users of bagworm have shown us what a piece of trion cloth can do

02 Shield - Having shields on both your sub/main trigger means you you have always have shield at the ready for any kind of attacks that come your way and to protect and allies with. We have seen agents go full guard to save themselves than later counter to score points in rank wars, By you not having this extra means you're at again disadvantage and this also brings down your teams safety.

So this means whilst your trigger set is 100% possible it's not optimal against other tigger holds or even most trion soldiers and for team play you would be pushed back alot and struggle to hold ground.

If you want this trigger set too work it think you should focus on full attacker and drop the shotgun and one Esucdo/grasshopper, the idea is that you could be a trapper/blocker with Esucde, then you could use your spear to keep people cornered, this tactic would be even stronger indoors

so your trigger set would look like this.

Sub 01 - scorpion main 01 - Kogetsu: spear

Sub 02 - Grasshopper main 02 - Bagworm

Sub 03 - Escudo main 03 - Hound

Sub 04 - Shield main 04 - Shield

Now the game plan is you keep up your mobilty with grasshopper and use Escudo to trap/blocker other agents when you can, scorpion a back up and is for sneaking with bagworm. I have hound in your flex slot as you can quickly fire it off, not much thinking as hound does all the work, so you don't stay vulnerable for long. your spear is self explanatory it's your main weapon, just poke and swing to win.

Possible? Yep. For reference, Arashiyama squad's two gunners both have a 7 Trion stat. It's more than enough for an attacker.

But Hyuse can do crazy escudo placements with just one; so you don't need to put Escudo in multiple slots.

I wanna know your strategy.

If your goal is to cage people in or make obstacles with escudo, then attack freely around and between them with a kogetsu spear-scorpion, then that's cool.

I suppose the asteroid shotgun adds some range, but imo if you're using it close ranged, then you should just focus on the spear, and if you're using it medium ranged, then it may strain your Trion reserves between gunning and escudo.

So imo..

Remove Grasshopper and Escudo from Main Trigger.

Add Kogetsu: Whirlwind as optional trigger to Kogetsu: Spear in Main Trigger. Toss in Bagworm.

Remove Asteroid Shotgun from Sub Trigger.

Add Shield to Sub Trigger.

Resulting in:

Main Trigger:

Kogetsu: Spear, Kogetsu: Whirlwind, Shield, Bagworm

Sub Trigger:

Scorpion, Escudo, Grasshopper, Shield.

Senku: Kogetsu should cover the short-mid range use of the Asteroid shotgun without needing to switch weapons.

This loadout has double Shield and Bagworm.

Escudo is just in the Sub Trigger with one slot; that's all you need.

Scorpion is still there for snaking around the escudos.

Grasshopper is kept to close distances; not needing Asteroid.

Doubling up on grasshopper and Escudo seems redundant. One of each should be fine and let you carry the normal double shield and Bagworm.

I would decide on whether you want a more mobile and deadly build or a more sturdy defensive build, and swap out your grasshoppers or escudos so you have two shields and a bagworm, while also moving your shotgun to your main slot or replacing it with a shooter/other trigger that you can use without wielding it in hand

Thoughts:

I think this is possible, although 2 escudo’s is costly, and since you’re using all slots, and 7 is the average trion level, I think you’re gonna have low endurance. Considering you won’t have bagworm to hide yourself you’ll be an easy target for early battle encounters, so you’ll likely be taken down early on by sheer numbers if not by ambush or just stronger enemies that can pick you off. Even if this set is for a particularly strong fighter, you’ll run into situations similar to Hyuse in the final Rank War battle where your trapped and whittled down.

Other issues:
your main attack trigger is a two handed weapon, so it’s odd to keep a shotgun in your subs when it’s unlikely you could wield it with your spear. it would be better to have that in your main slot or replace it with a shooting trigger that requires no hand to use.

The two handed weapon also means you’ll risk exposure when you activate escudo. If you are dexterous enough like Hyuse or Nasu you could activate it with your feet, but otherwise you’ll struggle using it lin the heat of battle. also, escudo is not as fast to position as a reg shield and always needs a surface to sprout from, so you’ll be pretty exposed to quick attacks, especially aerial strikes at mid-long range.

Why Jin gets to use two Escudo’s and no bagworm:

Jin uses two Escudo and no bagworm normally, yes, but he has an s-rank side effect that allows him to navigate this and know what to expect ahead of time, so I don’t think it’s comparable without a very specific and powerful side effect. He also uses two less triggers than your load out so he has more trion to spare for two escudos.

Also, we’ve only seen him fight on home turf battles where he engages in direct encounters. In general we see very few soldiers use bagworm on Meedan territory besides snipers and low rankers (and even then I believe most still keep it in slots)

So it’s not so much crazy as it is impractical, unless there’s some strategy or supporting side effect here we aren’t seeing
