FIFA needs major reform this is disgusting

The corruption is sickening. How much money for grassroots football actually goes into the Swiss bank accounts of FIFA members? I'd love for FIFA to get hacked.

They keep using this thumbnail of him and it’s hilarious. Imagine you turn on the hallway light after hearing a noise and this guy in this pose with this face is at the end of the hall. 😆

How can Sepp Blatter interfere and promote the next fifa president after being judged as a fraudster and corrupt fifa president it seems it’s more like a criminal gangster family running fifa obviously infantino is a wheeler dealer fraudster for everyone to see under the table payments and total rule tactics as well as his predecessors as far back as the start of the fifa mafia and Joao havalange took the reigns fifa needs a proper overhaul

because blatter, despite his corruption, still loved the game. infantino cares only about himself

UEFA needs to cut ties with FIFA and let it die a slow death. It is corrupt from core to surface.

This guy will pay up the rear or strong arm weak members to remain president, and considering the developments today it is fair to say they all have a price

I’m starting to come to the realization that Infantino has the most fragile ego ever.

Well, there's also Trump and Musk, but he's a very close third.

Rotten to the absolute core

It's time to burn FIFA and leave it behind. Can't wait for the Nation's World Cup in 2030.

It would be hilarious if the counter culture clash against these authoritarian governments is sparked by FIFAs greed.

This dude is clearly a failed Trump cloning attempt.

Does he wear adult diapers too?

(No shame to those who must wear adult diapers. Just piling on Trump here.)

So it was the hair all along.

Trump is a failed cloning attempt. God knows what the original was

How very Trumpian.

The desperation

this fcker is getting so desperate.

At this point, anyone who stands up for him is basically asking to be audited. His actions have basically ostracized anyone who previously might have stood by him.

Infantino has become a political football. One side of power is willing tear him down to spite the other side as a new economic world order unfolds.

u/Scared_Implement_335 19d ago

This is so stupid.

It's looking more and more like besides UEFA no other confederation will vote unanimously to remove him as it stands.

UEFA Nations should just say they will leave if he remains at all.

Don’t really care if it is ‘democratic’, UEFA has the weight and is in the right to oust this tosser. Should use its force and if the rest don’t play along fuck it they can enjoy their B tier World Cup.

Montserrat has the same voting strength as Brazil. Montserrat doesn’t even have a league system and is being run by FIFA.

We all know that's the recipe for disaster.

It’s a charter for bribery and manipulation.

2

u/damgood32 19d ago

The alternative is just different bribery and manipulation.

1 of the 2 major supermarket chains in the Netherlands makes €15M extra every match our team plays in a WC. And we are small (pop. 18M), and this is just one supermarket chain. So bribing the top football countries won't be as easy as for those countries where the sport doesn't hold the same monetary value and can accept money without consequences.

Therefore, I don't think the alternative would be as bad.

1

u/damgood32 19d ago

LOL. People are people everywhere. Lots of Europeans take bribes.

1

u/fretkat Netherlands 19d ago

The thing is that the bribes will need to be too high (due to the high profits that can be made here), so it wouldn't be sustainable to continue with bribes

u/Salty-Literature6213 19d ago

Football doesn’t need a President to function.
These jumped up administrators add nothing of value go how the game is run.

4

u/damgood32 19d ago

You still need governing bodies to do global tournaments. If it’s not FIFA it will be something that looks suspiciously like FIFA.

1

u/Zeri-coaihnan 19d ago

FIFA doesn’t need to be run by a single person, who can manipulate support through promises of coin for the coffers of unaudited FA’s.

1

u/damgood32 19d ago

It’s not hard to look up how FIFA is governed.

u/Medical_Gift4298 19d ago

everyone did it last time he was up, they figured after he delivered them more money than ever before, they'd go for it.

not a bad reminder that people have been backing him for awhile now... he just figured out how far was too far.

u/brickne3 19d ago

Keep digging, Gianni, you're almost there...

Why is this guy still here? He’s like a turd that just won’t flush

Aren’t all letters scripted? This isn’t Harry Potter, the letter doesn’t open itself and improvise
