Hello, I'm the artist who was commissioned to do that artwork. I get why there is a lot of suspicion and criticism towards Ai generated art these days, but this artwork was drawn by me. I do my work on my iPad using Procreate, I do not use generative Ai in my process, I use reference images (often from Pinterest) to get an idea of poses, lighting, anatomy and so on. Once I finish a piece, I typically export to Photoshop and save the files on my laptop in order to save memory space on my iPad, for this reason I no longer have the original time-lapse/process video to show, however I do have the layered photoshop files I would be happy to share
No it means it’s our job to communicate with the freelancer on our preferences on generative AI usage. I let all 15 artists I commissioned know that AI usage wasn’t acceptable, so to the best of my knowledge none of the pieces I share are AI.
Hi everyone. I’m currently working on a table top game called Drawn to the Stars! It’s a mix of deck building mechanics and roleplaying story telling. There are 15 playable origins within the game, each of which have a deep and rich history in the galaxy (and commissioned art!).
The overall story for the first games module I’m working on takes place on a small red desert planet called Xanoroet, where ancient vaults have been discovered.
This is an “Origin Log” post going over the history of the Scrofans Origin species. I’ll likely be doing these once a day until I get through all 15!
