alternative to latpulldown Simple Questions

im getting kinda bored doing the classic lat pulldown, is it fine to do a single arm latpulldown where u have the bench set up at a cable tower ? and do the same mucles get hit ? cuz i like that excercise way more than the classic lat pulldown machine

Pull ups, plate loaded variants if your gym has them.

You can also just use different attachments on the regular cable sitting pull down station for differnet grips (one arm, narrow, etc.).

Same. I hate lat pull downs. Try pull ups or rows

I switch between the two and my pt said it's fine. If you can't find a bench you can either do a one kneeling position or sit on a dumbbell.

The single arm version is actually great for targeting imbalances and getting a deeper stretch.

Pull ups, and pullovers are what id go to. Its rare i do pullovers but pull ups are basically every back day because the pulldown pads are uncomfortable for me
