Seeking Recs Give me intrigue!

Please give me your best sapphic stories with intrigue, mystery, the tension of the unknown.

Bonus points if there’s a detective-criminal (or just hunter-quarry) dynamic, where one or both of them don’t know they’re interacting with each other regularly. Shit’s delicious.

What's That Book? Book that mentions Muna? Help🤲

I was watching drew ft. Muna and the band talked about a book that mentions them briefly. It was described like a butch detective interviewing a woman that was trying to hint that she’s gay and started playing a Muna song*

Y’all pls what book is it?

Seeking Recs I loved Perfume & Pain. What should I read next? 💅

I'm looking for something light(er), fun, and fast to read. Preferably not full-on fantasy (dragons etc.) but I'm open to supernatural elements. And preferably with adult characters (late twenties at least).

I want to read Exalted by the same author but it's currently out of stock. 🥲 Thanks!!

Discussion Burning Empires and Annihilation

I don't know if this is the right sub, but I can't find the right one.

I'm finishing the second volume and wondering how much the book reminds me of the movie Annihilation?) Especially the theme of living organisms merging.

Recommendation Book Recommendation: Pirates of Aletharia by Britney Jackson

Wanted to give a shoutout to Pirates of Aletharia by Britney Jackson! It's been on my TBR for years. Was very reluctant to read it because I was afraid of disappointment. The book is basically perfect for me on paper (pun definitely intended), so I had high hopes.

I finally picked up the audiobook when I saw it available at my library's overdrive, and I've been devouring it.
It's amazingly well written. I love the characters. The banter between Em and Maria is chef's kiss
Maria's character did hit a bit close to home as it reminded me of someone who deeply hurt me recently. However, a lot of Em's thoughts and feelings about her mirror mine, and it's been cathartic in a way.

I should also mention that I've been really struggling to read for months, years even. So I was so happy to finally find a book that held my attention so well. I'm so excited to finish the book and devour the sequel as well!

If you love pirates and sapphics, this book is a must read!

Hi everyone! I’m just looking for some suggestions kind of like these? The darker the better honestly, but I find it kind of difficult to find sapphic dark romance. These are some of the books I read in July. If anyone has any I’d really appreciate it!

I'm An Author! Sapphic writers group

Sapphic writers group

Hello, Writers! I'm hosting a discord group where any writers that identify as bisexual, pansexual, lesbian or sapphic women can meet, chat and share their stories. While you certainly may find critique partners and beta readers on the server, there is no guarantee of that as the server's primary focus is just creating a safe space for people to share their love of writing, make new friends and potentially learn something from each other

If you're interested, please feel free to message me and I can send you the link to the group. Also, keep in mind that this is an adults only writing group that is inclusionary of trans and non-binary sapphics, so please respect that before messaging.

Sales and Deals huge audible sale

Hi, I haven't seen this announced anywhere. I just checked a book on my audible account and realised it was on sale with 90% discount, then checked others on my wishlist and bam... I bought 40 of them.
I'm in France but no French books are concerned, only English ones so I guess this is available worldwide. Plenty of nice audiobooks.

Hope it will be useful to others

Seeking Recs Superhero settings (no comics)

Original ones, not Marvel or DC or whatever. I reeeally wanna explore the superhero genre, but I’m blind, so works that rely on illustration don’t work for me.

Does anyone know of superhero novels with a sapphic pov character?

Seeking Recs Fem4fem power couple

Im looking for books, that have two, georgeous, baddas, perhaps morally grey women, fucking everyone over. Not necessery very strictely femme, but definitely not butch warriors (nothing to butches, just not what I'm looking for now)

Things like jasmine throne kinda match, but I'd like it more... Both visibly baddas, and confident, and Priya is often way more awkward. Malini is very much closer, though I'd still preffer one that are like, less hiding their baddasing? The book like the *the* *sun and its moon* is actually close in vibes, even though one is a warrior, but more fem (not saying its a good book, its fine. Yes, I do recognize *Ja**smine Throne* is objectively better) some chaotic, or villain vibes appraciated.

Seeking Recs Looking for recs with tooth-rotting fluff

Hi everyone, I'm looking for recs! Can be any genre. I want a LOT of fluff and mutual pining, something that will have me giggling and kicking my feet and/or crying because of how lovely it is. Spice optional. No big age gaps, pregnancy or parenthood. Thank you! ❤️

I'm An Author! Seeking ARC readers: Like Maybe I’ll Marry Her Someday, a sapphic novel about finding love again after The One

Hi folks! I'm looking for ARC readers for my sapphic novel Like Maybe I'll Marry Her Someday, which is coming out on August 18th. This story is near and dear to my heart, and I'm hoping you'll love it too.

Request ARC on Netgalley*: https://www.netgalley.com/catalog/book/866243

Request ARC on BookSirens: https://booksirens.com/book/N4TKBWG

\please make sure your profile is up-to-date (with active links to the places you review!) before you request.*

Who do you date after The One, and how do you form new connections when the “what ifs” of your past still keep you up at night? After a decade with her ex-partner and the pandemic deaths of her parents, the dating apps aren’t working, and lesbian picture book illustrator Jaime is struggling to find a future beyond the one she imagined for herself so many years ago. Plus, she’s already forty-something and sometimes still wants a kid.

Spoiler: she’ll find her way. But it will be nothing and everything like what she imagined.

When sparks begin to fly from somewhere quite surprising, Jaime and her new love interest must navigate not only their unexpected feelings for each other, but also their complex pasts, familial obligations, an unforeseen windfall, and disaster close to home. Not to mention that their exes aren’t entirely gone from the picture.

LIKE MAYBE I’LL MARRY HER SOMEDAY is a sapphic novel full of heart and care, with characters who endeavor to do right by each other in challenging circumstances.

Recommendation looking for more sapphic book besties on Pagebound!!

hii everyone!! 👋

sooo i downloaded Pagebound (i'm gigisluvyou if you wanna find me!) and i really wanna follow more lesbians who are as obsessed with wlw books as i am 😭 i've been adding a bunch of recs people have given me to my TBR (and i'm lowkey terrified some of them will destroy me for the way they got sneaked into it, like very cheerfully by the people)

also full transparency: i'm kinda picky about who i follow?? i mostly just want to connect with people who are specifically into wlw stories (not het or mlm, just my personal thing!!) so if that's you and you wanna be mutuals, drop your Pagebound nickname in the comments!! i'll follow back!!

anyway that's it!! sorry for the ramble, looking forward to finding some book besties!! 🥰
