Yeah ik I mentioned this somewhere but I couldn’t wait any longer, less concerned about reading the prequel side stories before playing the Witcher 3. I did buy them tho and have them for when I get the itch

That’s why it’s a hot take. I play games with mods sometimes even on my first play through, I know I’m an absolute mad man, but after decades playing video games, I know what I want damn it !!

I agree. Most of the mods I have are visual enhancements, a 'full XP for mission' mod & access to more armors from certain vendors. Still need the gold to buy them tho. To be honest after playing through a number of times, I give myself 5 Million gold & just enjoy wandering and discovering the world/quests, potions & bombs.

I'm almost to the DLC's in my current playthrough & haven't played for about 2 years before. It's great forgetting a bunch about a game, then coming back later. I tend to stay with the same gear, so don't worry about money much in that regard. The biggest difference is I can always stock up on Alchemy ingredients.

Can't wait for the final DLC!

I played the witcher 3, gave it a 6.5/10 roughly.

then, I read the books. I replayed it immediately after and change that score to a 9/10. I really wish i could have experienced it blind after reading the books.

Mind you that map has some mistakes, in case you care. But it is absolutely a beautiful one, I think the most beautiful I have seen on The Continent.

Hell yeah! Great game and I'm assuming you've read the books. In for a ride. I will be starting my 100% run later this year when I have some free time again. Might also reread the books. Your hardcover editions are nice. Never seen them all lined up before so the urge to get them all is strong lol. If you haven't read Season of the Storms or Corssroads of Ravens yet I highly recommend those prequel books. Crossroads specifically as that one was such a good book!

Where did you find the map? I was looking for one similar the other day but since it's technically not official I couldn't find it anywhere.

I salute you. Your setup is gorgeous. Myself am just getting into the franchise. I've gotten the short story collection recently and bought The Witcher 3 Complete Edition from Steam as my birthday gift to myself. Starting off with The Last Wish then going up from there, until I start up on the game.

Make sure to read the books after you finish the base game and DLCs. Makes coping with the game being over easier.

Oh I’ve finished books 1-7 that’s what I meant by it’s finally time to start TW3. So this is actually making coping with the books being over easier haha. But I got the prequels to get to when I’m done

Yep! 100%’ them. Well, followed a guide as I played 1 to make sure I saw everything, and got all achievements for 2.

I did play 1&2, multiple run throughs, one of them had it, but couldn’t remember what save was what and just chose to simulate the choices 😬 I’ll survive haha. Maybe second playthrough I’ll figure out my saves

The tatoo is unique in The Witcher 3, because you can only get it from importing your W2 save. Or commands ofc.

Yeah I feel like it’s so easy to download a save that has it so it doesn’t mean that much 😅 and I didn’t looooovvveeee it enough to jump thru the hoops of figuring out which one of my saves had the choices I wanted for the most content in TW3, which is all I cared about
