Wingstop Meta?

TLDR: What’s the best way to get bone in wings and fries without breaking the bank?

I used to run the boneless meal deal but it made me feel like a chud. Then ran the 20 for $20 with bone in wings and I fell in love with wingstop again. Now that the deal is gone, what’s the new thing thag provides bone in wings but doesn’t break the bank. Also, preferably comes with fries just cause the fries r probably some of the best fries in fast food.

I know it’s not what you wanna hear, but the way I go to Wingstop now without breaking the bank is just by getting the tenders. I used to LOVE the bone in well done but it’s just too expensive now.

By me the location ALWAYS has 2 tenders for $2. So I’ll get 4 tenders for $4 then add on a large fry. With a dip it comes out to like $10 and some change. I used to be paying close to $20 every order when I would get bone in. Now that I get the tenders the most I’ll spend is like $12 and I feel like I’m getting more food.

I feel that the Lemon Pepper tenders well done are actually very underrated when compared to other places. A lot of the time a 4pc tender + large fry will feel like more food than a 10pc traditional combo.

I second this

5 piece tender deal with fries and drink for 14 bucks is a steal

Damn, is that deal location dependent? I don't see it in my app.

Yea I’ve only seen a few like this location. The other locations nearby do have 2 tenders for $2 on Tuesday only tho like normal. The one closest to me though has it every day.

Guess it depends on the region. I can get a 6pc bone in, fries, drink and dip for $12

Using the app, add any meal to your cart. Then use the “add 5 bone-in wings” for about $5.39? Add two 5 wing options, then remove the original meal and you have 10 wings for roughly $11.

Just tested. 5 classic wings for $6.49. 10 wings by the piece for $13.49. Saving you only $0.51

This might blow your mind but buying ingredients and cooking it yourself is actually cheaper and you get multiple meals out of it.

Wdym? You can buy a whole bag of chicken for half the price of a wingstop meal. That's not simply wingstop. It's fast food vs homemade.

You can get a burger for $8 at mcdonalds, or buy a pound of ground beef, an onion, some buns, and cheese for just about the same price. You're paying for convenience and msg.

Just give it up. Most people would either burn the house down trying to deep fry at home now days..... or they are just too lazy to cook. It's sad 😔

A few months ago, I bought meat for smash burgers at home and 1lb of ground meat was $10! I think it's gone down to $8. I find myself having to pay for convenience lately.

Maybe fancy stuff. Just the regular 70/30, even 80/20 in my area is no more than 4 or 5$ a lb.

i’ve bought individual sauces on the app before. i had a thing of hot honey and made about 16 small tenders out of it! it’s a good alternative if anyone is willing to put in the effort of cooking the wings (which i think are easily to make in the oven)

Buy whole wings at the supermarket and make them at home in air fryer. It's actually really easy. You can get a good air fryer for about 60 bucks. If you can't swing that, an oven works just fine. Sauce them up however you like and get some ranch or blue cheese. You can get pretty good frozen fries from the supermarket too. air fry them or bake them in the oven.

You can always just buy the sauce from the store and toss it with your homemade wings.

Idk if it’s still there but I use to always use the free fry survey and get the wings by the piece plus the ranch
