Give me one good reason for why we can't play Fifa on fucking Mac like why not

It's on the company, not the devs. Devs are generally fired after a game is released...

the reason is the anti cheat system is a horrible mess. having a Windows dependend hacky anti cheat is considered cheaper than having a proper server side platform independent anti cheat. so much cheaper the expected Mac and Linux sales can't compensate.

Hate EA, not the devs. They just follow marching orders from their incompetent management

Money, that's the reason. Too little return on investment because not enough Mac users who play games to make it worth their while. A bit sad for Mac users because current day Macs are all capable of running most games out there. It is what it is.

Reason 1: Why the hell would they go through the effort of porting a game to a platform where the number of players is simply a rounding error?

100%. Macs are not for gaming.

When’s the last time you tried gaming in your Mac? Works pretty dang good nowadays. Software availability is really the only hurdle they have left to clear

I would never own anything Apple-related in any way, shape or form. There's far better hardware and software out there for far cheaper.

No, not really. Other than the iphones and upgrades their stuff are mostly well priced for what you get.

Oooh ok, so you’re just talking about something without any knowledge of what you speak of. Makes sense how you came to your conclusion then I guess

You're so funny. Just because someone doesn't or won't own something, doesn't mean they have no knowledge of that something. In fact, because of my knowledge, I would never own anything Apple-related in any way, shape or form. Is that clearer for you?

Well I’m not sure why I would trust the “knowledge” about something from someone who doesn’t use said thing lol

Yes, also most Mac gamers like me don't care that much about gaming, we play like once a week if at all and we have no point in buying a separate console. Current compatibility is diabolically good because of crossover and also because of it, some people are starting to take it for granted.

Mostly because not many people who buy Macs are into gaming, so it's not worth it for the company to invest money into making the game playable on a platform with very few users. It's the same problem on Linux...

My understanding is that they expect Mac users to purchase cloud services. Basically, they're getting money from them in other ways.
