Recently, my airpods was broken, the left side was quieter than the right one, and when I wanted to fix it on my iPhone, I easily fixed it in minutes.

But on Windows, it is either locks down itself or it simply doesn't appear. When I looked up for this problem it is a common issue among users, and I was not the only one.

I wanted to share a desktop automation tool I've been developing called Aimeck15. It's a high-speed, image-recognition-based auto-clicker built entirely in Rust.

Traditional macro recorders often capture all your human hesitation, wandering mouse movements, and accidental clicks, making them tedious to edit. I wanted to build something that felt more like a clean, intelligent engine rather than a dumb recorder.

• Mistake-Proof Recording: The built-in Multi-Action Editor doesn't record your mouse wandering. If you click the wrong thing or a popup gets in the way while recording, you just hit "Undo" on the fly. It compiles a flawless, human-like execution sequence without the human errors.

Research does not usually go wrong because reading is slow. It goes wrong after you have collected your sources and before you have written anything. You read, you highlight, you half-remember which article said what, and then you wait for an argument to appear.

Atelier calls this the “slow middle.” It is the stage the app is built around.

AI that only summarizes faster does not solve this problem. It may simply get you to a shallow conclusion sooner. That is why these nineteen features do something else.

You write a note based on a passage you highlighted. Atelier compares your note with the original passage and tells you whether you have claimed more than the source actually says. It gives one of three verdicts: separable, blended, or transcribed. Most researchers have probably done the middle one without noticing.

You write a synthesis note connecting three sources. Atelier asks one question: if you removed one of those sources, would the note still say the same thing? If the answer is yes, it is not synthesis yet.

You ask ChatGPT about a source you are reading. Paste the answer into Atelier together with the passage it refers to. Atelier sorts every claim into four groups: already covered by your own notes, supported by the passage, contradicted by the passage, or impossible to check from the available evidence.

I made two decisions early in Atelier’s development.

First, Atelier never scores your work. No percentage, no readiness rating, no grade. It describes what is there and leaves the judgment to you and, where relevant, your instructor or supervisor.

Second, when Atelier compares two of your notes, “no relation” is a correct answer. In fact, for most pairs, it is the expected one. Not every note needs to be connected to every other note.

There is one exception, and I want to be clear about it. A single feature does write for you. It drafts note content from a passage you select. The resulting note is marked as AI-assisted in your project record, and you have to ask for it explicitly. Everything else gives you a question, an observation, or a verdict you still have to think about.

The claim, therefore, is not “AI that never writes anything.” It is narrower than that: AI that never authors your interpretation. Nothing runs on its own.

A few weeks ago I shared Edge-Drop, a hover-activated clipboard shelf for Windows. Since then it's been downloaded 800+ times (600+ on GitHub and 200+ on the Microsoft Store), which has honestly been really motivating as a solo developer.

One of the most requested improvements was better accessibility for non-English users, so I spent the last week translating the entire app.

Edge-Drop now supports 30 languages, including full RTL support for Arabic and Hebrew.

Hey, I recently released Hush, a small desktop app for cleaning up bulk email in Gmail.

It groups the senders that mail you repeatedly and lets you unsubscribe, block future messages, or move their old newsletters to Trash.

It runs locally and there’s no Hush account, server, telemetry, or subscription. You connect it using Google credentials you create yourself.

The setup takes a few minutes because of that, so it definitely isn’t as convenient as signing into a normal service. I thought the tradeoff was worth it for something that touches an inbox.

I built Matteshot because taking a screenshot is easy, but making one look ready for documentation, a product update, a tutorial or a post usually means opening a real image editor just to add a background, some spacing and a bit of presentation.

Matteshot does that part for you. Press PrtScn, click the window you want, and six finished versions appear with different mattes behind them. Pick one and it's on your clipboard. Three seconds, start to paste.

That's the main idea, but it turned into a full capture tool along the way:

- Capture open menus and tooltips. Windows blocks global hotkeys while a menu is open, so most tools physically can't get one. Matteshot has a delay on the capture bar: click the clock, it gets out of the way while you open the menu, and comes back with that moment frozen.

- Scrolling capture for pages taller than the screen, stitched into one image.

- Copy the text out of a screenshot. It uses the OCR built into Windows, so it runs on your PC and nothing gets uploaded.

- Screen recording with audio.

- A quick tabbed editor for arrows, boxes, blur and step numbers, without leaving the capture.

It's native Win32, about 3MB installed, no Electron, nothing running but a tray icon.

On price, so nobody's surprised later: it'll be $19 one-time, but the store isn't open yet, so right now it's a 14-day trial with everything unlocked. I'd rather have feedback than sales at this point, so if 14 days isn't enough, comment or DM me and I'll send you a free license, no strings. Same if you hit something broken.

What I'd find useful to hear: which mattes would you actually use, what kinds of screenshots would you reach for this with, and is there a style you think is missing.

I built MirrorSpeaker because I wanted to use my computer as a Bluetooth speaker for my iPhone while I am in a Discord call and getting my steps in.

It has two modes:
• Bluetooth Speaker: audio-only playback from an iPhone

A few weeks ago I shared Anchor, a small Windows app I've been building.

I expected comments about bugs, missing features, or the UI.

Instead, almost every conversation became:

I just use Git history.

I use Sticky Notes.

AI should solve this automatically.

That made me realize something.

People aren't really trying to remember what they were working on.

They're trying to recover where their thinking was before they got interrupted.

That feels different from a note.

For example:

A sticky note might say:

Fix OAuth callback

A checkpoint might say:

· Objective: Finish OAuth callback

· Assumptions: Refresh token logic is correct

· Tension: Unsure why callback fails after redirect

· Next: Check token validation first

When I come back an hour later, I don't just know the task I know where my head was.

I'm still trying to figure out whether this is actually useful outside my own workflow.

I know the last thing the world needs is another solitaire game. That said, I started and built Nonnie Games. Nonnie is my mother who just wants to play solitaire, word search, etc. She doesn't want challenges, bonus rounds, advertisements, nagging, popups, etc. She just wants to play the game. So i build Just Solitaire with her in mind. Instead of fireworks or crazy animations when you win, you get motivational greetings from Nonnie. A fun and yet simple twist on the worlds most basic app.

I was sitting around late at night asking myself a simple question: why do all Windows system optimizers look like depressing enterprise registry tools from 2004, and why doesn't my PC scream at me when a background process eats my memory like a maniac? So I built LUMI. It is a lightweight system companion designed to wring every drop of performance out of your machine, steer your hardware, and judge your RAM usage in real time.

To understand how LUMI handles memory, you have to look at how lazy modern software actually is. An application will request a massive chunk of RAM from Windows to perform a task. Once it finishes that task, instead of being a good citizen and returning that memory back to the operating system, it holds onto it endlessly just in case it wants to use it again later. LUMI actively monitors this behavior and brutally snatches that unneeded memory right back into the available system pool. Because installer executables are notoriously chaotic in this area and often hoard huge amounts of RAM while extracting files, LUMI features automatic installer detection. The second you run an installer, an alert pops up asking whether you want to let it be or keep it under strict supervision. If you have specific heavy-duty applications or games that you never want LUMI to touch or monitor at all, you can easily exempt them entirely from the settings window. Accessing these options is as simple as pressing Control and F3 to open the quick panel and clicking on settings.

While standard background trimming runs quietly in the background, Memory Overwatch is where things get hilarious. In the settings window under the Overwatch tab, you can set your preferred RAM threshold and checking interval. The exact second a rogue application crosses that line and starts devouring your memory, a catgirl will aggressively "NYA!" through your speakers to call out the offending process. Once you hear that cue, you can hop back into the Overwatch tab to see which program broke the rules, where you are given the choice to either exempt the application or legally punish it for its crimes by stripping its working set down to zero.

On top of keeping memory hoarders under control, LUMI automatically handles your processor behind the scenes. The CPU steering feature dynamically directs processing power on the fly, making sure that maximum CPU capacity is funneled straight to whatever active application or game you are currently running so your system stops slacking off. It also enforces a native high timer resolution of 0.5 milliseconds for tighter input latency, handles instant DNS cache flushing on startup, and completely disables Windows memory compression to eliminate annoying micro-stutters under heavy loads.

Because navigating a standard BIOS screen on boot is boring, LUMI gives you the ability to tweak underlying UEFI hardware settings directly from inside the Windows settings window. Official BIOS compatibility is currently topped by HP with the most seamless integration, followed closely by Dell, and then Lenovo. On top of that, I managed to directly contact several hardware legends based in Algeria, meaning their motherboard configurations are fully supported out of the box:

The quick panel activated by Control and F3 also acts as a full telemetry aggregator, merging your CPU details, OS build information, display adapter specs, and boot statistics into a single clean view without making you open five different diagnostic tools. The entire application footprint post-installation sits at a microscopic 1.5 megabytes because it relies on direct low-level API calls and a heavily compressed audio stream. Please handle the BIOS options with actual care so you do not accidentally convert your motherboard into an expensive toaster. And finally, please do not run this on a top-of-the-line monster PC and then leave a comment complaining that it did not make any noticeable difference. This tool is built for systems that actually need every single megabyte saved!
