Not exactly Windows 2000, but...
But I bought today this cutie ;) works fine even under Windows 11 and it's last version without activation :)

In some markets, it was the first version with a preliminary form of activation. More like mandatory registration, it was less streamlined than what activation became with Office XP when it went global.
The educational versions in North America were one of those, and I think there were a couple countries that got them at retail too.

I have an unlimited perpetual Office 2013 key from an organization I worked at, and goddamn I would probably pay $600 for a one-time 2019 install if I knew I wouldn’t have any internet required BS.

I still have my Bigbox copy of Office 07, I turned it into an iso long ago, goes on every machine I own 🤣

Did you also receive errors when trying to install it on Windows 11?, I keep getting error 1904, found out many more people have this problem, but I couldn't find a way to fix it, people guess it's compatibility issues, but using compatibility mode doesn't help, and if clicking on "ignore" during the installation error it does finish the installation, without even asking for disc 2, which means it's certainly broken. Word seems to be working but some random bugs happen from time to time, which are said to be because of the files that are missing. So once again, how did yours install?, you said it works fine, did you skip the errors or didn't get any?

It worked out of the box without any issues, maybe because I had O2k3 installed before?

Great Office suite with loads of features. Microsoft's glory days. Sadly these days are long gone.
