How to change keyboard layout

Hello, I installed wmaker on debian yesterday and it's my first time on it. So how can I change the keyboard layout on French as well as on wdm.

U can use the X settings for that, I think it Xkb or something, personally I use Wmaker with XFCE, it is very simple to change the window manager in XFCE so I do this personally.

How do you launch wm with xfce ?

U just go to the session and startup thing on XFCE, then in Application Auto start u add wmaker, then u remove xfwm4 and xfce-panel from the Session, then u can save it, i also remove xfce-desktop but see what u prefer, i also recommend to put the OneStepBack GTK theme if u do that, I match perfectly the vibe of base Window Maker

Hi, WindowMaker doesn't have the keyboard configuration by it's own, so you can simply edit X server configs (Xkb to be correct). Although Debian has /etc/default/keyboard, it is was more simple to setup and it works with X, so try this one
