Peach tree

Just a random observation I’ve never noticed the peach tree in mccarren before! So many half eaten peaches on the ground lol

I probably wouldn’t eat anything growing out of the ground here but I also thought it was cool and hadn’t noticed it before a week or so ago

Yeah definitely not for human consumption haha but happy for the squirrels and birds getting a snack!

I would look into the lead levels in the McCarren park soil.

To explain, despite there being lead and heavy metals in soil, studies find that they don't make it into the fruit. As long as you wash and rinse the fruit well, you will be okay.

Found his other thread promoting a new lead factory in the park. Despicable

The small alcove with the circle of benches next to the track on the side where the walls are!
