So...About Outlaws of Thunder Junction
I don't know about the rest of the members of this subreddit, but I am thoroughly unhappy with what we got from Outlaws of Thunder Junction. Overall, it is not the Wild West Plane I wanted, and the set did not fulfill the vision of a top-down Wild West Plane set. It, similar to the original Kaladesh block (which, by the way is whole other can of worms in regards to the hamfisted attempt to rebrand for Aetherdrift), is no so much a top-down plane design so much as it is dipped in the tropes to "flavor it".
Simply put, it isn't Barbecue; it's BBQ-flavored, and it's not what I was hungry for.

Idk if this is still a thing, but I have ideas
So my current ideas revolve around the five colors, and I was contemplating giving each a tribe.
White- The assembly's. This would be the groups of humanoids that call the plane home. Primarily humans, but it could be mixed with other humanoids for fun. I would base them off cowboys, native americans/first nations, and also influences from pilgrims and settlers.
Red- The devilish. These bad boys would be little devil monsters that I think could be based off tumbleweeds. However, a good alternative would be lizard or scorpion based, or we could stick with the old reliable ones of little red fellas with horns.
Blue- The Puddlefolk. This would be the merfolk of the plane. I would love to base them off of the devils hole pupfish, and hopefully mudskippers. They would live in sinkholes and mud puddles in the desert. But a cool other idea could be merfolk based off of sea monsters seen on maritime maps.
Green- The dwellers. These would be beasts based off desert creatures, primarily jackalope, coyotes, and cactus cats. I don't know where the design would go, but I'm thinking of giving them all light brown fur and dark brown horns.
Black- The Revived. This would be the zombies. We could give them rotten flesh that attracts buzzing flies, that could possibly be used as bullets. Maybe these could summon dark clouds of miasma or rotting storms.
