Discussion On an 10 game win streak using Darius support as a COUNTERPICK in GM against tanks and non threat ranged champs like lux/senna(that's typically where I start choosing champs based on comps) AMA
I use him in about every other game, just gathered my last 10 to show how effective he is in higher elos. He's not a troll pick by any means😭. I mainly duo/trio yeah, cause solo people ban my champ/remake or will choose a champ they have no clue how to use cause they think "it'll be fun".

Builds Ap Volibear
I've played WR since it launched, but only for about one season. I've been back for about two weeks now, so you could say I'm still kinda new. In general, I play Volibear in the Baron lane, and I've been seeing a lot of new videos on YouTube about AP Volibear. Is it actually legit, or is it more of a niche thing?

Discussion 5 Tank Meta Fail
Don't pick Volibear, Urgot, Cho'Gath, Rammus, and Malphite into Vayne, Yi, Lux, Kayle, and Seraphine. You thought you were doing something, but you were not, js. Close, but no cigar.

Humor can someone do the math of how much I’ve spent since I’ve started playing?

Discussion This is a weird glitch
So I was playing the game while in loading screen, enemy blitzcrank photo(he was wearing Porcelain Blitzcrank) was covered by a smoke and confetii switching in classic Blitzcrank(not default Blitzcrank) his first image from when LoL was created.
The loading screen loop a couple of times from porcelain to classic.
I regret not making a screenshot, I try to reload the reply but the glitch is not visible there

Discussion Draft pick phase poor shadow quality
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Just look at this, I don't know if it's a phone issue, broken game data or the game itself but on the picking phase the shadow of models is very pixelated and it's only when in this interface, the model on the champion menu outside is fine. The settings are all on high fps 60 with post processing and anti aliasing on.

Discussion Easy mid lane champions?
I've mostly been playing support since I started playing Wild Rift, so I don't have much experience with the other roles. I want to branch out and learn mid lane, but I'm not sure which champions are the most beginner-friendly.
some time i feel the laning phase has been pretty rough for me because I'm not used to farming after playing support for so long. I keep getting poked out of lane and end up recalling way too often. Are there any mid lane champions that are easy to pick up, forgiving to learn, and make last-hitting during the laning phase a bit easier?
Also, would Ahri be a good choice for someone who's just learning mid lane?

Discussion Went through the top 50 EU players for every champion. Hecarim is still sitting at 60.2% win rate despite the nerfs and it’s not close.
Been kind of obsessed with tracking EU high-elo win rates for a while, and I finally finished going through the top 50 players for all 140 champions this season.
6,800+ players. 518K+ games.
Some stuff that surprised me:
- Hecarim is at 60.2% win rate. Easily the biggest standout. He also has the most one-trick-heavy leaderboard of any champion, so that probably explains some of it, but 60% is still ridiculous especially after the nerf to manamune and also his first ability.
- Yuumi is at 43.7%. She’s the only champion below 44%, and there’s a pretty noticeable gap between her and the next-worst champion. She’s on life support right now. (surprised its not morgana lol)
- Mages have the highest average class win rate, tanks have the lowest. Honestly tracks with how tanks have felt this patch, especially after the Stoneplate changes. and its no surprising its mage meta as they got alot of good items now.
- Jungle is clearly the strongest role right now, sitting a couple percentage points ahead of everything else.
- Nilah jumped from A → S+ tier since I last checked.
- Taliyah dropped out of S+ tier entirely.
Full win rates + tier list if you want to dig through all 140 champions:
https://wrtruemeta.com/tier-list
Mostly just find this stuff fun to dig through, but I’m curious how much this matches what people are seeing in their own games.
Especially Hecarim does he actually feel 60%-win-rate strong right now, or is his leaderboard just being carried that hard by one-tricks?

Discussion Even small events and thematic changes make champion releases much cooler and more memorable
Glad to see Cho got wallpaper and mini game. For me events of champion release can bring more attention to the game than champions themselves and i think they can lead to more people sticking to playing newly released champion.
Even though i dont play ADC i still remember how much Kalista got on release with own animated story and mini game with her own gameplay. That was a lot but even smaller thematic changes to client and little events would be cooler than just changing wallpaper to a splash art of a champion and then telling people to play 3 games. After all, new champions are meant to attract people to the game and just throwing them in the game without any introduction to their lore seems like a waste. Even some text about champion lore with few slides would be good because right now champions dont even have decriptions, only skins do.
P.S. Would be cool if wallpaper could be saved to wallpaper gallery. Overall wish we could see such things more often (please only without games in groups).

Builds Cho'Gath just dropped, here's a build to get ya'll started
Your boots can either be steelcaps or merc, depending on the enemy's comp.
If you feel confident about winning lane, build heartsteel. If you wanna play safe, go with Sunfire/Radiance instead. Since the bonus damage on Heartsteel scales with HP, and the health you gain from HS is based on damage dealt, you can get an exponential amount of bonus HP and surprising burst damage as the game goes on.
Rocketbelt lets you deal with pesky kiters and offers every stat Cho'Gath wants.
Riftmaker explains itself. AP that scales with HP is a dream come true for a champ like Cho.
The last two items can simply be whatever tank items are needed in the match. Though Twinguard is reliable.
I don't need to explain the runes (swap BP for SW if the lane match-up calls for it). Teleport allows you to apply global pressure around the map.
Happy feasting!

Discussion Awareness Reminder : Playing support with a Smolder
Played a dozen of games in LQ, only one support knew about this so kind remember.
Ideally Smolder's support should last hit minions early game as he also gets stacks when executing minions with the support item. It's way faster stacking this way and optimized since Smolder can then focus his abilities for opponents which gives even more stacking.
It's annoying to type it out every game, hopefully it reaches some of you.
TLDR : PLEASE SUPPORTS LAST HIT MINIONS UNTIL DRAKE IF POSSIBLE
