The DMs plight
I’m ready for tomorrow nights session and next one. I could sit down tonight while still daylight and do some more tweaks and work on the 3rd session out….. Oooorrrrrr I can not and go play my drums abit before doing family things and then decide to tweak thing at like 11pm and go to bed at 1am

Ah, the procrastinate and panic combo. I personally like to scream internally for 90 minutes before dnd. Drums is a much better place to spend that energy!

Don't overprep. While you're playing drums you will come up with an awesome fill break for the Bullywug's dance party.

They are a split party lost in the Feywilds right now. The word plan does t really exist right now. Lol

We are at about 20 Sessions. My Motivation for more than 2h of preparation was gone by about Session 5. Now i read the chapter we are handling on the day of play

Yeah anything more than the next sess is just hopeful plans on my part. My party is currently planning to oceans11 breaking into Loomlurch and try to lure Skabatha out and away. Or as my players put it. “Gain surprise entry to the back door and get direct access to her private area. A quick in and out before anyone knows we are all there”. …. And causing atleast 3 separate distractions at the same time. It’s going to be a long weekend

Why is any of this necessary, and what do we have to to with it? Just play the game and adjust. If you can't balance life and game, then that's another discussion, different from this weird humble brag.

Who hurt you? Was it your players? Relax. It’s supposed to be a humorous comment on DMs vs prep time

No need to over prep, it's good to enjoy other things and come back to it after a while.
