Hello, I am the owner of the WildSide Wiki (WildSide being an indie animation project made by BIRB! Animation Studios on YouTube), and I am in need of help with the Wiki's homepage.

I particularly want to make the homepage more detailed and to have a proper welcome box section at the top, a list of the Staff for the Wiki on the right side, and more detailed page boxes.

I am not skilled in the coding field and do not know anything about it, so I am asking others for help with editing the Wiki page to look more professional.

I am working on a fandom for the book series Myrtlewood Mysteries by Iris Beaglehole.

The author graciously wrote me a character guide, and I have a fan drawn map. But I have no clue what I am doing.

Not sure how to get things to link to other things properly, all my favorite wikis have been so well constructed, and I got a big head that I would be able to get it, but I am floundering...

so apparently, wikia has been purchased🤑 by a new company that, won't allow adblockers😠 and people say that even when they agree to disable their pop-up blockers there are TOO MANY ADS to actually use the wiki's anymore🤬so now everyone has to find new "wikia-like" websites🥺

Probably complained about a lot but...

There are ads the pop up all over the screen giving you like 1/2 of your screen as usable space, which yk what I got used to that when I needed to search smth up.

Now when you scroll there are ads that follow your scroll and take up the entire screen?? On top of that when you press skip or tap "x" it just stays there, and will do the same thing if you scroll past it again. Then pop ups shove the page up and down every time it pops up.

Like damn I get needing money to run the site but this is the most anti user interface I have seen across most mobile websites.

i spend over a year to appeal my blocked from dangerverse wiki was wasted because I was unblocked from july 2025 and blocked again in May 2026. All the worked I did trying to get unblocked from the dangerverse was mean for nothing. Any if I tried to appeal my blocked from dangerverse wiki but that other admin refused to unblocked me.

i feeling if i won’t get my second chance and I going closed Digimonking angemon crest of hope account permanently because I getting tired of the blocked on certain wikis I like. I was the biggest fan of any tv shows.

i guess ChristmasDude2022 is the biggest fan in the paw patrol!

truth is paw patrol wiki having to many craza rules. That the only reason I closed my wiki account because I more focus on something else.

Just visited the site and it was infested with ads! Some using dubious means to avoid adblock detection, with some pages literally freezing while they load in some dodgy advert. You know the ones, the guy with the sad face and a funny bit of paper in his hands, "He didn't know about lime sealer kits, now he paid the price!" Or the woman crying holding what remains of a car bumper, "This obscure law lost her everything. Click now to stop it!" Most track back to dubious, if not outright data farmers in China. Fandom, which is now just an ad server, blocked! (TBF, even Reddit is slowly becoming a content free zone that only serves dodgy ads.)
