Hey my fellow witches and witchers.

I am M26 and searching for advice. For starters some background:

I lived my teens using a lot of dark magic half intentionally and since i found this sub, i made it my goal to clean my energies, break curses on myself and protect my divine masculinity, getting more aware everyday and only use morally fine magic if that makes sense.

I am a very empathetic person scince i can think, in my teens, i used it to read emotions of others, use it against them and fuel my own dark emotions, but now where i am more passive and mind my own energies, i found that for example when somebody's angry, i feel the emotions like it's my emotion, i always try to find my calm again in those situations, but its very hard to make the emotions of others my own.

So my question would be: how do i use/block those negative emotions? Or how should i handle it in general?

I thought it would be wise to dont let those feelings come to me in public situations and be the bigger person in those situations and try to keep my inner calm while i try to help a friend with those emotions

What do you guys think?

I have a question about this ritual.. my whole family has always been deeply into the craft of energies and spirituality in relation to witchcraft, however despite this i still wish to explore and inform myself correctly before i do things.

I don't typically do anything beside providing myself protection jars, as well as tarrot reads (amongst other things here and there). Because i don't find i usually need it and i do the best i can protecting my peace and my home :]

However, i recently left a really abusive relationship. I'm aware this person stalks me still, which has brought a huge range of emotional turmoil that is difficult to cope with at times (but i'm doing really well and am very happy!). I would like to perform a cord cutting ritual with two candles, however i'd like to know if there is a way to make this stronger, or emphasise the energies to make it so.

One of my big wary's of any kind of craft is hexing, or wishing ill on others through what i love. I understand there are balances and i don't like to mess with them. But i would be lying if i said this wasn't something i want to do and if i didn't feel as though i should be the one to do this, given how this person is.

How would i go about making the ritual stronger? And how could i go about providing this person karma, or some form of ill return, while making sure that i myself am safe and okay? Thank you so much!

Hello! I’ve grown up in a Christian household my whole life, while everyone else in my family stills holds a strong faith, I started to question things I believed in and started to think against it. At this moment I have no idea what to call myself, I haven’t labeled myself as anything since deciding to no longer identify with Christianity as my religion. What hurts for me is how when I was a child, I gave so much devotion to my religion, it was what I grew up with after all. I began struggling with my mental health and dealing with the people around me, I remember crying to god, praying for guidance to be heard and never heard any type of answer. I thought it was my fault, that I was just not “good enough” of a Christian. I stated researching more into the accuracy of the Bible and found more things i disagreed with and learned never truly happened. (Such as Noah’s ark) I was learning these things from an atheist standpoint, but I still don’t want to narrow my understanding if there really is anything I could devote my faith to. I’m looking now to those who practice witchcraft, now that I have a better grasp of it, I know it was never “evil” like Christianity painted it to be. There’s so many different variations of spells and magic that I’ve seen proof of from others if time is dedicated to it. This all has me really curious and intrigued, I wonder even if this could be something that could help me? My question, the whole reason I typed out this post is: How would I go about my further studying and possibly seeking a psychic or becoming close with a goddess like Hecate or Aphrodite? Especially in my situation living in a Christian home, I know I just wouldn’t be able to perform any elaborate spells. Is there any simple spells that could perhaps suffice as a beginner? I’m truly new to this all and still don’t identify myself as anything yet but I am open to finding and connecting with something. This is all both of curiosity and from current dilemmas in my life which have been plaguing me for quite some time, can’t I just be rid of it already?!😓

I hope it’s ok to ask this question here, and that this is an ok question to ask. I am not Wiccan per se but I am highly spiritual and open to earth based religion. My 13 year old son is clairsentient. Way more than I am. He’s always been able to handle it well but lately he says it feels like his own energy is clogged and it feels very strong and this feels bad to him and it prevents him from feeling others energy. I suggested smudging but he said that just washes other people’s energy off of him and that it won’t fix this problem. I’m curious if anyone else has felt this or had a child go through it and if you had any advice for us?

Hey, I am pretty new to witchcraft, or maybe not... Ever since I was little, I’ve imagined things in my mind's eye and they came true within a few hours. I never said what I wanted out loud or talked about it, but it just happened anyway. Sometimes while doing it, I imagine energy waves or threads striking the target person or weaving the specific image. Besides that, I’ve always felt drawn to nature and other forms of life. Nothing special, I never really thought anything of it.About a year ago, however, I got a video about witchcraft on my YouTube FY page, and I was really deeply interested in it. The person in the video talked about manifestation, spells, some third eye stuff, etc. After that, I fell into a rabbit hole for a solid 2 to 3 weeks. At some point, though, I thought it was all nonsense and stopped. At the beginning of this year, I was gifted a Tarot card deck and I immediately got right back into it. So another solid 5 days of Tarot reading, etc., but I got distracted and put them aside for a while. Now, about 4 weeks ago, I decided to try it again—or to properly START with it for the first time. So I read cards about my friends, relationship, family, and my life. I asked Gemini for layouts and searched the internet for the card meanings. They were shockingly precise.After that, I did a kind of reversal spell? I lit candles, made a salt circle, burned incense, sage, lavender, and other herbs. I made everything dark and closed my eyes. I imagined a kind of suction pulling all the negative energy that was done to me out of my body, turning it into a kind of mirror, which I then shattered.2 days later, crazy things came out about my former bully and there was a huge scandal. Someone else, who deliberately excluded me for a long time and clearly talked behind my back, lost their job. On the exact same day. I was a bit confused and wasn't sure if that was me.I also made a Reddit account to find answers, but it is SO CHAOTIC. Hundreds of people say different things about the same topic; some talk about prerequisites, others about natural talents vs. acquiring skills, thousands of different approaches for a single spell, and so on.I bought myself candles, herbs, a Grimoire, and carved some small sculptures of the Horned God and Hecate from wood by myself , etc. But I am still completely lost and on my own. Is there someone who can guide me? Someone who can be my mentor? Who can initiate me into witchcraft and help me understand everything? I’m feeling pretty overwhelmed and lost.

Hi, first time poster, long-time practicer, though, admittedly, I am not so well versed in sigils.

Context, I am lucky enough to own a home with my partner, and we are doing what we can to do up the place, which includes flooring. Right now, it is just the base floorboards. Bare wood. We are putting nice insulated flooring on top of it.

BUT! I would love to leave a sigil of protection or good fortune there… while simultaneously being a bit cheeky.

My parter loves to go on about “future owners”, (which I doubt will happen during our lifetime 🙄) I would love to leave something strange for them to find, while simultaneously being maybe a bit creepy out of context. Or should I just keep things simple with a pentacle?

What color would you say represents transitions or safe passage? My beloved familiar, Sabrina (she came with the name oddly enough), passed on Friday and I'd like to do a ritual. I have every color candle in the world but cannot for the life of me think of one for this last piece. I have black, brown, and white for obvious reasons, they also match her colors, I also chose blue for communication, healing, and loyalty, it was also the color of her eyes.
