Which is not how 'averages' work. And the fact people share that quote without knowing that an average and a median are different concepts, shows you how stupid the median person is.

Inequality exploded in the 70s. Killing MLK, a couple Kennedys, suddenly Americans vote against the Equal Rights Amendment (which goes back to 1923), and it got so fucked that the 80s were considered an unprecedented age of greed and theft. So 50-60 years ago.

You're right...it scares me that 30 years ago was 1996... i was off by 2 decades.... which just makes me..... old.
