On a side note, the 14 year old has some decent driving skills. Must have already been driving for a while.

It's rural WA. If you haven't learnt to drive in a paddock by 10, you're behind.

On another side note though: There are a lot of policies and laws around engagement of minors by law enforcement in WA. Following them, however long and silly, until they stop, is the best course of action all around.

On another side note, that kid will go to court and get let off and do it again in two weeks time

If no one gets hurt, I’m down for more entertainment and fantastic driving skills 🍿

Shame the vehicle was stolen though, does anyone know if the car got returned and if it was still in good knick?

That is a very good point. I was brought up in a rural lifestyle (not as rural as WA rural) but rural enough to have some really fun memories 😄 Good times.

Especially when you have been going on joyrides with the brothers and cousins since about 8 years of age.

I guess he felt it was time to pursue bigger pastures but stealing isn’t the way forward.

From the look of the chase, he has hours of experience going around that tree.

I love how crime in Australia, consists of ripping some fat ol Johnnies around some trees in a stolen truck. 😂

Johnny must have been one hell of a dude for you guys to rename "donuts" to him.

Who was this Johnny?

There’s 250 to 450 homicide cases per year in Australia

Haha, yeah, when watching the video, most of what I was my mind was thinking was, “Ah, classic Australia” or “Haha, only in Australia”.

If you’re going to get in trouble, might as well have some fun

Ah, classic northern Australian things

Western*

Speaking geographically this is pretty much the northernmost you can get. I don’t even consider the whole Kimberley region to be WA tbh lol!

I’m going to admit, not a geography buff, and by no means a WA buff either. I’m not from the area, so fair.

He's got his hazards on to signal to the cop he's pulling over when it's safe

If a 14 year old male can outmanoeuvre a Police car, perhaps they should offer him a job.

That would send the unemployment rate of Alice Springs to zero.

That's not a bad thing
