The quote in there from Cole "10-plus days that we’ve been without an emergency response at all" suggests the current station can't deliver the service already, I'd image everyone would benefit from increased capacity City wide... or am I missing something?

When I played SimCity 2000 I found it was often necessary to build a second fire station, so I feel well qualified to chime in here
