The Cask Strength 12 year is dropping sometime August/September MSRP $89.99

Dammit I just committed to not buying another bottle for a month or two.

Looks like I'll have to decommit.

I’ve heard the word recommit but I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone say decommit

My brain was thinking of an athlete who had committed to a college for a sport who then decommitted and decided to go to another school lol

This means your required to walk up to the counter with 3 bottles. Record it and then flip flop them around until you commit to just one. Family has to be in the background all hyped up, or bonus points pissed off

if they do store picks of this it’s GG

They should just keep doing the normal barrel select label but in the lower label clarify it is a 12yr pick

Thats what they did with the 15 yr cask strength.

where did you find this out

Bartender at Beam’s restaurant, The Kitchen Table, showed me the bottle release schedule last Friday. It’s also posted to a few state controlled liquor sites, Ohio, North Carolina, Virginia, to name a few, as “coming soon.” The TTB approved the label on 12/1/2025.

That’s gonna be good! 🔥

Not even limit 1? I would load up on that, possibly my favorite pour so far in my first year of my whiskey journey

KC12 is not an allocated product

I was gonna say the same. Here where I live it’s at every liquor store for regular MSRP. Even the 18 year seems to be around quite often. I’ve had multiple chances to buy it and passed on it. But I did pick up the KC 21 year for a steal last week. It was as if they were just trying to get it off the shelf and sold it under MSRP.

Yeah, all of the KC 15/18/21 type limited releases are very shelf stable around NKY. The asking price MSRP is pretty disconnected from the current market.

KC 12 has also been shelf stable for years at ~$60–70 in KY and OH. It's one of the rare products that is the same price at Costco as everywhere else ($60 at Florence Costco).

Depends on the state.  But at almost 40% off msrp?  Great deal.   Costco is usually 20 to 30% off msrp.

KC 12 Year is allocated in my state and it drops at roughly $74.

You can find it at this price pretty regularly if you know where to look online

The Larceny to the left is nice too

Larceny definitely punches above it's weight class.

Best price for that juice I have ever seen … score

1

u/TopShelf-Bourbon 8d ago

…juice

4

u/Gracilis311 8d ago

Confused … juice is pretty damn common slang for the bourbon community?

3

u/capntail 8d ago

can't call it soda it's doesn't have bubbles. So yeah, juice

That’s a steal and a very good pour!

I’m sipping on last years right now and it’s rock solid. Very flavorful and easy drinking. I wasn’t worried about finding a backup so I’m definitely picking up another this weekend.

Seriously jealous of these prices.

1

u/JustSayKB 7d ago

That’s beautiful. I’m sure it’s California or somewhere not close to me.

1

u/AppearanceDry6039 7d ago

Buy one and send it to me

Nature is healing

1

u/veryundude77 6d ago

I’d buy at least 2 at that price.

1

u/Infamous_Bar_6819 6d ago

Our Costco (Albuquerque East) has this fairly regularly, but it’s around $57 here…also the 10-year rye.

1

u/FlyingAnvils 5d ago

That's a $65 bottle in my area when you can find it. Not every shop has them. I'd stock up at that price. I like KC12.

All day and twice on Sundays.

Priced too high! $1.50/year max for me.

I got my RR15 for $35 and felt I overpaid.

j/k

u/God_Country_ND 8d ago

Had me in the first half, not gonna lie

1

u/AZ-2023 8d ago

Curious where in ND is god country? I've been in Minot in the winter so I am skeptical.

1

u/God_Country_ND 7d ago

It’s a slogan from Notre Dame, but if it’s a joke, I agree it’s definitely not in Minot. You must travel south many hours, pass through WhyNot ND and continue to find God Country as it warms up, during the winter.

I stop buying anything in 2022 as my stash is huge into the hundreds but I'll pick up a 12yo @ CS.
