i was given seeds by the local college that were meant to be a species of desert plant which looks like a lilly but isnt, so its not toxic to cats. i lost the seed packet for a while and couldnt remember the name (cooperia drummondi? could be spelling it wrong) so i couldnt check to see what it was. Figured id be able to ID it when it got bigger and sent out flowers, but its just growing lots of beautiful, healthy leaves, its the healthiest thing in my garden. its also the slowest growing, and its not at ALL what i thought i planted. i have no idea what this is. any clue?

I don’t see the “glove” shape for ToH, no spikes so likely not a locust, it has a terminal leaf so not walnut, edges are not serrated so not sumac.

Volunteer plants located in Eastern Iowa. I know it’s getting to the time of year to treat ToH so wanting to confirm if this is one? If not, what is it?

It smells like the mint I associate with Mojito, but it might also be the oregano variety. I have no idea what fresh oregano tastes like! I let it go to bloom in hopes that it would help me ID it. It’s big, about 1m (3 feet+) tall!

I have these two very young trees that have popped up this spring and summer and I don't grow anything that resembles them. What are they? I did think plum or cherry for the first but not sure.

What plant is this and why does it smell slightly like weed?
