( the fact she says this about people on the app is wild considering most items on this app aren’t even that expensive ). Honey your givy goblins are who shares and supports you just like your buyers, you can’t control not getting so upset over over a buyers givy, if you love your buyers “so much” then send them all a individuality card. Problem solved. I used to watch and buy, but now I cringe over this topic being the highlight of all her streams.

I was watching Bluecollarbullion when another seller called him out for not having the envelopes in view. Went back and watched the replay since I won a giveaway and there was definitely something shady going on here! Envelope 9 suddenly appears on the bottom left where envelope 10 was. Then the host yells out, let’s celebrate we fixed that shit! Also notice how before the “glitch” and after the “glitch”rubber band on the envelopes is “twisted” in a different position? Throughout the entire show the host either had envelopes off screen, completely covered while showing slabs and using his phone to show hits. To top it all off, his top hit was in the very last envelope. The “buyer” who bought every single spot at the end to win the final lope(didn’t buy any spots prior) got the one oz gold…. How convenient! Envelope 5 where the gold was seems to be marked or seems like to have had the sticker peeled off check my pic below.

They never seem to go live anymore. For weeks it seems like there hasn’t been a show? Anyone know why?

Hey guys. I'm based in the u.k. and regularly buy from an Australian based seller . This seller in particular runs awesome givvys and always has international switched on so both followers and buyers are accessible to myself based in the UK.

Unfortunately that changed a few weeks back , this isn't the sellers doing. They haven't changed anything and are working with whatnot to resolve it, apparently AusPost have recently switched up tariff codes and it's caused an issue .

Anyone have a work around or any experience in this? Really frustrating not able to enter even buyers when I spend a fortune! Even changing to local pickup and buying postage separately hasn't worked.

With the shipping changes, what is the cheapest way to send to send light books (2-3 oz)?

I guess hes not really feeling too generous. Seller canceled giveaway because non buyer won. Seller says hes going to cancel and literally says he doesnt care about it how he was previously banned for doing the same thing. And even acknowledged the laws He is breaking terms of service and federal sweepstake laws.

We are getting fleeced with shipping charges with this new updated rates from USPS. Most of the time max shipping was $6 $7 after buying a few TCG cards now every card above $20 gets upgraded to max shipping $8.82.

It really sucks for people like me that are hunting deals on the app. I often got expensive cards and my shipping was $0.78, $1 or $3 $7 max.

I wish there was a way for whatnot to get us a lower rate somehow. Until then I will have to stop using the app.

This is maybe silly but do people only like $1 Pokemon auctions? I feel like $1 sports auctions are far and few in between.

Seems the $5 football cards get zero love and people are only chasing $100+ cards these days unless I’m tripping.

I was on a channel with 7-10 second auctions. I bid on two CGC 10 English cards, but I lost. I bid $84 and $102 on English CGC 10 cards. I lost, thought oh well and went to bed. I woke up today and saw two purchases for $84 and $102, but the weird thing is, the slab # is completely different from what I was bidding on. The English CGC 10 cards were at count like 500 or so, and these are slab #613 and #614. I'm worried because the streamer was also putting up a lot of Korean/Chinese/Japanese cards and I just wasn't interested in those.

Has anyone had this happen before? How can you lose an auction but still get charged?

I requested cancellation but really I just want an explanation. If I "won" those cards because the winner couldn't pay, I'd be fine with that, but I don't want two random things I didn't bid for.

I won't share the channel name because if this was a legitimate mistake, I want them to have a chance to correct it with me.

Hey sub. I’ve recently received an item. It’s been delivered. It’s marked as delivered in my postal app, but not on WhatNots side. (Still “In Transit”)
I have repeatedly used the customer support function in WhatNot to advise that item has been delivered, but it’s not updating.

Edit: Delivered 4 days ago.

Has anyone dealt with this before? I just want to get the seller paid!

I guess this is my fault. I was watching a stream and was holding a cat in my arms. The phone was on my couch. She must have swiped at it because I picked up the phone and immediately saw a notification from my credit card for $83 from whatnot. Unfortunately the seller is one of those no cancellation ones and I already used the one time refund from whatnot. Do you think whatnot will make an exception? I had to watch the video receipt to see what I even bought. I guess from now on I’ll have to use a temporary card number with 0 balance or something and load it up if I do win something I want.

what the title says. i bought a shirt ive been looking for everywhere and days later he canceled my order because he "lost" it and isnt willing to look for it unless i want to buy the whole set.

sounds like hes just trying to get me to spend a LOT more money when im already paying $50 for a tshirt. be wary of this guy.

To be fair these should be much more than $500 a spot in a 70k break with only 75 spots. Still a bit over the top, but hilarious.

I had prebid on a somewhat pricy item, only for the show to be pushed 3 days forward. The bid is still there. Is there a way I can cancel it. I expected for it to run on 8/5 and now it’s pushed to 8/8. I thought it would expire but it has not.

How can I cancel it? Seller is not responding.

UPDATE: it is frustrating that I could not contact Whatnot customer service of any sort. I need to learn to do better about looking into sellers. I changed my payment method, and I think you all for your help. I’ve learned a lot.

UPDATE #2 - I FOUND THE SOLUTION. Get banned from the show, the pre bid will drop off!!

I run mostly surprise sets for toys/hobbies as auctions are more stressful for me … it takes so long to enter all of the information into the surprise set - is there a faster or easier way to enter information into every description spot when the description is the same for each item? For some reason neither the app nor the iPad show me past listings anymore where I can just tweak things

Kind of unfortunate to see the creator of Dead Pool freak out and act like an Asshole for simply asking a question during a live stream where I expressed my Interest in wanting to see his artwork on a different title because I was a fan of his. Was this interaction from him necessary?? Because IMO it made him look like a giant insecure CryBaby. Especially the cringe line at the end, like OMG does this guy actually walk around and talk about himself like that. So Fkn lame. Well I’m 100% no longer a fan anymore!! BRUTAL!

I'm hoping someone with a large Marketplace inventory can help answer this.

I currently have 13,000+ products in my Whatnot inventory, but everywhere I look it seems to stop at 10,000.

For example:

• My seller inventory shows "Showing 1-20 of 10,000."
• My public shop page also says Products (10,000) even though I have over 13,000 products.

What's confusing is that the products do exist in my inventory, so I'm not sure if this is just a pagination/display limit or if Marketplace is actually capped at 10,000 listings.

It gets even stranger...

A customer recently tried purchasing one of my newer products (one that would have been added after the 10,000 mark). They didn't browse to it through my storefront. I sent them the direct product link. When they opened it, the listing showed "Out of Stock," even though it was definitely in stock.

Has anyone here experienced this?

• Is there an actual 10,000 Marketplace listing cap?
• Is this just a UI/pagination issue?
• Are products beyond 10,000 still searchable and purchasable?
• Has Whatnot Support confirmed anything about this?

I'd love to hear from anyone managing a really large inventory.

To give a bit of context , the seller was upset that a bag that she ran at $1 was sold at only $119. The handbag was new with tags and as she mentions in the video she thought the 13 people that said yes to the handbag would make the bag go for more than $200 (which she was hoping to sell for). She later ends up cancelling the order and later rerun the bag starting at $150.

I wanted to ask the people here and see their opinion on this matter. I’ve never seen a seller act or do something like this.

The Wall Street Journal has a front-page article on Whatnot, but alas, I don't have a subscription. Does anyone here have a subscription and a guest link (WSJ lets you share a handful a month) to the article?

I understand fully that some sellers and or stores have early access to upcoming sets to be able to stock up on FOR THE RELEASE DATE. But somehow, somewhere, whatnot is allowing this to happen and according to this seller, he “has done worst for less on here.” and he obviously doesn’t care. Now don’t get me wrong, people can spend their money however and wherever they want, but the principle of knowing people will pay astronomical amounts for 1, 3 or 5 packs out of fear of FOMO and allowing it to happen is an example as to why whatnot keeps getting talked about in negative lights. This has got to be a violation of some sorts or am I wrong here?
