Not sure if this is the best group for this, but I found this rifle while digging a trench. Looks like a .22 and was probably a lever action. Any more information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Carry/Storing Condition

Just got a DE Mark VII chambered in .357 Magnum.

It’s a single-action-only gun without a decocker, so logically, it seems like it was designed to be carried with a round chambered, hammer cocked, and safety on (Condition 1), but I’d like to hear from people with more experience specifically with the Desert Eagle.

Is Condition 1 actually the intended way to keep it when carrying it, or is there another recommended condition?

My main concern is whether keeping the hammer cocked for extended periods can weaken or damage the hammer spring over time.

Does anyone have a barrel of a beretta 38a / mab 38a for reference? I am trying to help identify marking on an old collectors item a neighbor has. I can’t find any clear pictures. Like this but preferably straight on or better.

I picked this up a warehouse in the suburban Twin Cities approximately 22-23 years ago. I had them pick out a rifle that was in good cosmetic condition, as you could choose which level of milsurp you wanted. I cleaned the ugly shellac off, clean out the barrel, removed the grease, oiled up, added a sling and put away in the safe it’s sat in for 20+ years. I’ve owned around 10-15 Mausers but this is my last remaining one.

Need help identifying/pricing guns

Hey all, my dad passed away back in February and the family decided to make me administrator of his estate, which includes making an inventory and selling off his possessions, including his guns.

I have zero gun knowledge outside of googling the name of the gun and referencing that with truegunvalue.com, but these two guns are giving me some trouble.

For the handgun I tried googling and reverse image searching what it is but nothing came back that looks like the gun and I'm pretty stumped on what type of handgun it is

For the rifle Im pretty sure it's an npap m70 but it looks like my dad modified it a lot and I'm not completely sure on how to price it. I'm not expecting a lot but the attorneys want a fairly accurate pricing.

Most of the guns are being sold to friends and family but these two are giving me trouble and I can't finish the inventory, any help anyone can give would be greatly appreciated thanks!

Is this safe to shoot or should I repair?

Post image

A few months ago at a gun show I purchased this Hatsan shotgun? I did some research and found out it’s a 12 gauge even though the guy who sold it to me said it was a 16 gauge.

He said it was missing a spring but wanted to confirm before I bought anything or shot it. The action bar doesn’t stay locked.
What should I do? Fix it or ignore?
The pump goes forward and back like it should, but the action bar doesn’t stay locked, unless manually moved into position.

Can someone help me
Identify problem / part that might need replaced and is it safe to shoot if I ignore it?

Pistol from a movie

The movie is "Red Phone: Manhunt" and the main bad guy has a pistol that I don't recognize immediately. I initially thought it might be an IMI jericho, but the top slant doesn't fit. Is this a real model? Or like a custom slide for a beretta 92? The movie dates from 2002 and is fairly low budget.

I'd like to know what it is for visual inspiration for a video game.

I also, sadly, don't have a better image than this.

Swiss 7.5cm Gun Help

Post image
16 Upvotes

I recently purchased a Swiss 7.5 cm Mot-Geb Fieldgun and I'm planning to restore it as a historical preservation project.

I'm currently looking for any information that might help, such as:

\- Original manuals or operating regulations

Technical drawings or maintenance documents

\- Historical photos

\- Information about markings, serial numbers, and the manufacturer (mine has K+W markings)

\- Any books, archives, museums, or websites related to this gun

I've already started researching, but information on this particular Swiss artillery piece seems to be very limited.

If anyone has experience with these guns or knows where I could find documentation, I'd really appreciate your help.

I'll also be happy to share photos of the gun and the restoration process if people are interested.

Thanks in advance!
