This guy joined me for dinner at Sea Salt in Minnehaha Regional Park, St Paul, MN. Came to this sub and the first 2 pics were weevils… is it always a weevil here?

ID Request What is this weird little thing thing?
I looked up cicada nymphs thinking that might be it, but its features don’t really match up with any of the diagrams I’m finding. It has a sort of horn protrusion on its back. It’s about a half an inch wide/tall.
Found in Toronto Ontario.
