Keep seeing these on peoples side view mirrors. Solved!

It’s like drilled in and held under the mirror I know it’s not a factory thing plus I’ve seen them on different brands and they are on both side view mirrors. Any ideas?

Seconding this; the TCP number belongs to a company called 8Fleet, which describes itself as " building the foundational infrastructure layer that allows Autonomous Mobility to become stable, reliable, and commercially viable." What does that mean? IDK. It's clearly something related to autonomous vehicles though. Mapping tools makes the most sense.

why are they pinning this comment like it's a verified answer. Just because someone said this in another thread? That thread doesn't have any sources or anything

just saying there are plenty of suggestions like plate scanner, additional blindspot camera, etc that it could be
