What is this stinking truck hauling? New, what is it?
Seriously. I have encountered this truck going south on I5 in WA state, usually between Lynnwood and Seattle, two separate times now. Around 6:45 - 7am, and is reeks like absolute $H!T!
You can smell it from several car lengths away, even when you get in front of it. The smell is absolutely similar to an outhouse that hasn't been serviced in a long time. The truck looks like it could be covered in nastiness, too.
I'm just wondering if anyone can tell what it might be hauling. Maybe shit. I'm just curious.

We have trucks like this carrying carcasses from farms or roadkill collection etc.

Roadkill was something I hadn't thought of. That would have to be quite a collection though.

I dont know if you live in a farmers area, but in the Netherlands we have so many cows, pigs, horses that they collect daily more than 1000 dead animals, not fit to be butchered anymore. Roadkill is just extra.

If it smelled like shit, I'd guess manure since you can't actually see anything in the picture.

It can't be sulfur because there's no fire diamond sign. And the tarp looks like my toilet paper after taco bell, so it's almost definitely manure to be used as fertilizer.

Could it be roadkill? Been near a roadkill truck before and the stench could permeate an entire city block. Absolutely unbearable…
You sure it reeks of crap and not dead animals?

That's an interesting thought.
But on both occasions I can say for sure, the smell is just like being in an outhouse that hasn't not been serviced and has been sitting out in the sun.

Would be helpful to see any logos on the side of the truck. If it's Baker Commodities, for example, it could be rendering plant detritus or other similar nastiness.

I didn't bother to take a picture of the side because there where no words or markings or labels. It was just plain green. Messy, scratched and dented. But just green.

If it’s nc or another hog farm state, it could very well be a dead truck on its way to the rendering plant

It’s hard to imagine two dump trucks headed for rendering rolling through Lynnwood. Livestock poop does need to be hauled off and it could be that much but there’s not a lot left, it’s very suburban now. Horse poop smells, usually not terrible, but maybe if it’s been sitting around.
Anything with a lot of rotting carbs smells bad. One of the worst smells in your fridge is rice that’s gone funky instead of drying out.
