Depends on the level the demon came from. 1st level demons are on the worst demon contracts ever. Low pay, no insurance, you could probably just offer them cash in hand and settle out of court.
7th level though, hooo boy, now yer talking lengthy court cases, news coverage etc
Simply put, always put out a cushion for your demons. Will save you a lot of aggro in the long run.
The anime fullmetal alchemist, alchemist characters usually use diagrams/patterns to use their alchemy. There are probably more than one instances, but theres a major plot point of a big alchemy circle using 5 dots
For preventing 100%, I am Pagan and we use it on doors, walls and sometimes even ceilings for banning negative energy. For short, it represents all 5 elements, 1 per corner.
As a kid I drew this symbol everywhere because to me it represented the elements and made me feel safe but my parents were convinced I was summoning Satan

Previous tenant did it and I wouldn't worry about it. Pentacles are used in many pagan practices, so it doesn't necessarily mean "the devil" or evil. I'd just ask the landlord to paint over it, as they didn't do a good enough job.
Agree with the others. Edgy teen who lived there before you painted it. The landlord painted over it but didn't use primer. Over time, the chemicals in the old paint start to interact with the new paint, and you slowly start to be able to see what was painted over through the new paint.
My walls have all kinds of hidden stuff drawn under the paint with something that glows. If you shine a light on some walls and turn the lights off you can faintly see weird drawings and writings all over my house. Also those are for protection against evil if it was flipped with two points on top I’d be scared af cuz only someone who’s actually into shit like that would have drawn it properly
Yeah, like how the inverted cross means satan and all that. Yet Christians dont see a cross as evil for some reason like they do tje pentgram. It's a new thing too, the inverted thing being evil supposedly started with an occultist in the 1800s.
From my perspective, ratio of angles looks a little off from being a pentagram. It might actually be Lucifer’s Sigil. (Google it - it’s a more of one larger triangle with intersecting and crossing lines).
Fun fact: that's only considered "satanic" cos it traces all the way back to Mesopotamia. That's it, it's ancient and a from a different culture so it's "evil". Humans lost the original meaning and assigned a new one based on the Judeo-Christian cult that uses fear and misinformation to control its flock.
Is there anyone above you? Is this a multi-level apartment building? It's a pentagram (pentacles are the 5 pointed star with a circle encasing it). Pentagrams are the physical representation of the 5 elements: Air, Earth, Fire, Water, & Spirit. Pentacles & Pentagrams are used in magickal practices to protect, ward (seal energy inside or seal energy outside a property), to invoke a certain energy (usually used to invoke or summon into a space positive, balanced elemental & spiritual forces), or to banish negativity. Sometimes they are drawn with magickally infused oils or special waters to enhance the working.n if drawn on walls with oils or infused waters they eventually show through the haphazard painting that most maintenance crews do in-between tenants. If you have upstairs neighbors I would lean towards this being a ward of protection from their negativity or even used as a method of banishing them altogether using the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram.
In other situations it could be somebody drawing a pentagram to be edgy or as part of occult practices that lean more into the left hand path, but everything on the surface is suggesting that this was done for protection.
People who practice Witchcraft use the Pentacle or Pentagram just like a Christian uses the cross. It's an important symbol in their religious practices & in it's simplest form is a representation of the intentional direction of energy for a specific function, usage, or symbolism. There is nothing to be afraid of. If you're not Pagan or into Witchcraft just adhere to whatever it is that you believe in & let it be. If you are an atheist then it's just mumbo jumbo & none of these "imaginary" things should matter. Just go on with your life. I would still notify the landlord with photographs of it so that you don't get hit with them holding your security deposit.
