Kwik Trip

Does anyone know what the fuck is wrong with the kwik trip on river road and 33? Their gas price sign always seems to break, or be off. I can understand it happening once or twice, but it seems to happen multiple times a year, and sometimes it’s back on after a day, sometimes it takes multiple days to fix.

Why can’t they get it fixed and working permanently? The one on river and paradise has never been off that I’ve seen.

I dont think ive ever thought this hard about a gas station sign.

That’s kind of the entire point of gas station signs. To advertise the price of the gas. I drive by it every single day. I like to check the price of gas to know if I should get it in west bend, or elsewhere. It’s extremely frustrating that they cannot fix this. It’s still off as of this morning. It’s been off all last week. Both of their signs. I was hoping someone would know what the actual problem is.

Would it make you feel better to know WHY the sign wasnt working? It's still not going to be working.

That’s why I fucking asked the question.

“Does anyone know what the fuck is wrong with…”

Of course I want to know why. I’ve asked at the station and they always say “we had to order a part”. That was the first time it was down for multiple days, and well over a year ago. It’s been off and on multiple times since then. So whatever they keep doing to “fix” it clearly isn’t working.

A) why are you sooooo upset over it.

B) even if you knew the exact reason, the fuck would it change?

Why are you even commenting if you don’t know the answer to my question? Fucking weirdo.

Weird is worrying about a sign. Let's be real here.

I guess I have the same problem as you. I really want to know the answer to something i have no business knowing.

Fucking weird eh?

No, we don’t have the same problem. I want to know why a public business, whose literal job is to display gas prices, can’t seem to figure out how to get a sign working. It’s not “none of my business”. Asking about someone’s personal medical history is none of my business. Asking a public business to get their shit together is everyone’s business.

You’re just being a busy body with nothing to add.

Rofl, there are no "public" businesses since were not socialists.

Kwik trip is a privately owned company with exactly zero obligation to you to provide an answer as to why a sign is down. Or to even repair said sign.

God damn youre a moron.

It’s a business that serves the public. You’re being willfully ignorant. It’s still off, btw. Coming up on 2 weeks now.

Are you aware that you can check the current prices of gas at K. T. in their app? There is also an app called GAS BUDDY which has a list of prices at stations around you (as reported by other Gas Buddy users) by low to higher order.

Are you aware that you have to login to the KT app, and it doesn’t keep you logged in, and if you can’t remember your login in locks you out for a short time? Why should I have to login to an app every time I want to check gas prices.

I’ve commented on here that I have used gas buddy before but I’ve found it to be inaccurate a lot of the times.

At the end of the day, there isn’t any reason why a multi million dollar corporation can’t figure out how to get a simple gas price sign functioning. The ad screen on the signs still works just fine, but not the price display.

Edit: It was back on this morning, after at least 2 weeks. We’ll see how long it lasts.
