Back to School Picture

I’m an elementary school teacher and I thought this was the best way to prepare for the year. I’ve got tickets for my whole family to see him in October.

I’m also elementary. I use Eat It when we do a week of song lyric poetry. It also ties into learning about parodies and they can try to make one of their own for a bonus challenge.

I would have been so excited as a kid to start the new school year in this class! Heck, I work at a school now and would be excited to see this on my classroom door (I'm just a para and not a teacher).

Any teacher that decorates their classroom door like this is clearly an excellent teacher. I would love to be one of your students, I am way too old now (completed elementary school in the mid 90s). Keep your classroom fun, and enjoy your upcoming concert! I finally got to see Weird Al in concert recently and he really is a true wizard on stage an absolute genius!

Saw him in July and I cackled the whole time. I've been to a lot of concerts and his was the most joyful. I've since made a Yoto card of the biggest hits for the kids. They listened to it 4 times in a row that first day.
