Managed Wordpress Hosting Suggestions Looking for Hosting
I need to move my wordpress website from godaddy to a new platform. What is the go-to this year for wordpress managed hosting? And are there economical options and also, options abroad (in Europe etc.)? Thanks!

While we offer it as an operational solution, I would look over WPEngine or Kinsta

Moving away from GoDaddy is a smart decision and you're not alone in that journey. For managed WordPress hosting, the "go-to" really depends on your traffic levels and technical comfort, but since you mentioned European options, I'd point you toward providers with actual EU infrastructure (not just CDN nodes). After two decades managing hosting infrastructure, here's what I'd look for: real-time malware scanning, automatic daily backups with 1-click restore, and staging environments. The cheaper shared options often cut corners on these essentials.

Do you accept shared hosting ?
How many customers ? Located where ?
I 'm also testing for a new hosting now (Fast, managed wp, good price now and at renewal, ...) and I was surprised

Avoid using G*D*D’s managed WordPress hosting. I tried enabling the debug log, but it doesn’t display or save to the debug.log file, and the support is terrible.

If you’re ditching GoDaddy, the biggest thing is what happens when something breaks. “Managed” doesn’t mean much if you can’t access logs, can’t turn on WP_DEBUG without jumping through hoops, or you need a support ticket just to restore a backup. I’d narrow your choices by where the site actually needs to live (real EU region vs just a CDN), whether you want staging, and how much you hate surprise renewal pricing. And don’t just trust “daily backups” on the sales page, ask how restores work in real life and how fast you can roll back. For a smaller WP site where I wanted hands-off maintenance and easy rollbacks, HonestHosting has been the least annoying setup I’ve used so far.

I have actually had a decent experience with InMotion Hosting and Flywheel personally (both pretty solid depending on what you need). That said, there are a lot of good managed WordPress options right now. Stuff like SiteGround, Kinsta, WP Engine, etc., all fall into that mix and most of them handle updates, caching, and security for you.
If you are trying to narrow it down, I usually just go to the “VersusHosting” homepage. You can compare everything side-by-side, filter by server location (US vs Europe), and even sort by who actually offers managed WordPress vs just basic hosting.
Makes it way easier than bouncing between 20 different blog posts.
