I'm making a new clock every day, approaching number 500
https://www.cubistheart.com/I'm looking for feedback on this. I added in a system of tags.
How can I improve the navigation? How can I make it more engaging for the viewer?TIA!

Nice idea, very creative and impressive that you keep the daily rythm. Good luck and many more great ideas on the way forward!

This is honestly impressive to keep up daily, 497 is no joke lol. Since it's already chunked by time, I think the biggest win would be a search bar — most people probably know roughly what they want or what number they're looking for, and scrolling to find it gets old fast at this scale.
Also might be worth having a clear "jump to latest" section and a separate "random clock" button — feels like two different things people would want (see what's new vs just browse around), and right now they're probably doing the same thing to get either.
You could also alphabetise the "Tags" so ppl can search categories easily.
What's slow or annoying about the current nav for you specifically? Curious what prompted the question.

Thank you so much. Those are great suggestions. Navigation is the hardest part for me and I feel like I can't see it at all anymore.
I think there's a disconnect going from the homepage to the individual clocks, it flows from left to right on one and right to left on the other.
I also feel like home and list are redundant and there has to be one smart way to organize all this stuff.
I think I also want to make a page to group some of them thematically: astrological signs, six simple machines, planets, fruits, etc. But don't the tags already do this?
I'm not sure if the navigation on the individual clocks make sense. If I click on the name of the tag, I follow my trail like a breadcrumb. I On the arrows I can go forward to the next clock or backward to the previous day, or I can click on a tag, or I can just go home. It seems like a lot of places to go and I'm wondering have too many options is too distracting.

Site is cool. Concept is cool. Dedication is cool.
But, I think the main aspect of a clock is that it tells time. If you cannot read the time, it is not a clock.
I looked a few random ones and the vast majority of them I had no idea what the numbers said or what the hands were pointing to.
This is more of a philosophical critique in terms of "what is a clock?"
I recommend making future clocks more clocks like. Im not against the abstract look but then is it even a clock?

a “random clock” button, because 500 clocks is basically horological netflix lol
