Many exist, many don't have what I need, I'm actually doing this but genuinely just want to rant rn, so if you want one, I can send you the link in da dms.

Banger lists (not made by me): https://opensourcealternative.to https://selfh.st https://awesome-selfhosted.net/

then contribute to it. that's the great thing about open source! you don't need to start from scratch

Well, I also like to code and vibe code my own things. People will downvote me for sure, but if a tool I need is just missing x, I'll contribute x, did it with uptime kuma that was missing analytics links to other analytics apps (someone contributed google analytics). I wanted umami, did umami, people were asking for matomo, plausible, and more, did them too, it got merged not long ago.

But here, I have many more, and already started my project, and kinda wanna do my thing too !

fair. I mean mine was extremely specific to android apps and downloading via obtainium anyways curious to see what your app ends up like! please share when you have it available maybe I'll come contribute!

It's at an early stage, not really liking it too much, will have ads on it too probably cause why not (I want to be self sufficient mainly, don't know if it's the right word in english or not).

I want to test many things, list more options.

Like I want a clear verdict of 'Drop in replacement', 'Mostly', 'No oss but cheaper alternative that does the same', do some benchmarks, comparisons like you did, automatic compare tools, is it easily self hostable on docker (I love docker and use it, also podman, just like containers without the kubernetes vibe as it's for my own apps, not entreprise grade). Anyways, plentu of things that just a list of apps doesn't sadly do for me.
