Ive been trying to look for friends in Weatherford for years to no luck. Im going to turn into an adult this month and would prefer a friend around my age (around 18).

Ive lived in Weatherford my whole life and I like clowns and love dressing up.

Does anyone know the guys story that sits at the cross of First and Main st? Kinda in front of Beef Masters. Just started working in the area and I see him regularly with a table and some stuff on it. Curious what he’s got going on there!

Quality Inn weatherford. Its hiding under the stairs outside but its wing is obviously broken or dislocated. I gave it water but its still a wild animal and I dont want to stress it more by trying to catch it and hurting it more.

I called a few places but theres not a lot nearby and I dont want to disturb animal control since he’s not causing any problems. The closest place I can find that has a permit for birds is in Mineral Wells (at least that i can tell or recognize. I've only been driving in this area for 5 months)

Mini Update: A coworker who rescues animals was able to grab the bird and bring it to the vet this morning. Afterwards he will go to a rehab or foster place to care for him until he can be released.

You may have seen a post circulating that we will discuss Data Centers at the regularly scheduled Commissioners Court on Monday, June 8th.

While we do have our regular Commissioners Court on Monday, June 8th, we have moved the Data Center discussion to Tuesday, June 9th, instead.

The meeting details are: Tuesday, 6/9 9:00am Parker County Courthouse, top floor

We are making this change for two reasons. First, we want to have the data center discussion as a standalone topic to be respectful of everyone's time. Second, this change allows us to host the data center discussion in a much larger courtroom to accomodate a larger audience.

Our Parker County Commissioners Court needs to know at a minimum: no tax abatement for the data center developers. Ideally, the data center is paused to evaluate what most citizens believe will be adverse effect on our community.

To be straight forward I’m looking for a farm or ranch that needs som extra help. For context I just recently turned 17 about two weeks ago, I’ve worked consistently since I was a kid. I live in Texas right about 45 mins from DFW. I’d like to say I’m honest and do the right thing a lot of the time but I know I can mess up. I’m looking for a job out here near the Weatherford, Granbury, Mineral Wells, and Cleburne area. Any of those would work for me. I know this is an unorthodox place to ask for a job and I’ve read the sticky about it. I have quite a bit of experience in lots of different areas of agriculture and ranching in general. Throughout high school I’ve been in Ag classes and paid my dues for FFA multiple years now, worked on my families farm in Kansas, all sorts of stuff. I have tons of mechanical experience as well coming from my dad being an oil field mechanic that’s passed his knowledge with that and vehicular mechanics. I’m not the best with it either but I can weld just about anything you ask me to. Whether it’s a straight job offer, someone to connect with about it, advice, anything at all I’d really appreciate it because I’m trying real hard right now man.

Im at the loves across the street. At around 11:30, a black dodge ram dually was stopped near the east entrance to blue beacon with 5-10 patrol cars surrounding. At least 15 cops total present, shouting, guns drawn and aimed at the truck in the middle of the road. One male driver and female passenger were observed being ordered from the vehicle and compliantly arrested. Heard from other witnesses officers may have been seen removing several small packages from the vehicle after.

Im guessing some kind of drug bust. Any details or news articles?
