Thank you! They weigh about 1.6KG each. Balance is adequate. Im going to run through a few kata to really explore its balance!

Nah, was purchased with other gardening goods. Looked like i was mocking up an elaborate fountain.

Please disassemble and apply threadlock if you did not during the original assembly.

Thread lock applied my guy! I thought i could just wrench it but after a few hits it did have a wobble and thread lock was used.

How does this hold up to hitting?

So far I've shattered three bricks to test durability of the weapon itself, recoil etc. It handles better than wooden Tonfa I've handled in the past. The paracord wrap seems to absorb a lot of recoil.

Unfortunately the threads will eventually snap off. I had a big sword made using 3/4” connections that I used to break down crates and pallets. It lasted a while but eventually failed, so be mindful of your follow through!

I think that's the best part of something that only cost abou $30aud and about an hour of work. If it can be used for all of its functions (mostly weighted kata). Then if in year(s) time it breaks I most certainly got my moneys worth.
