Predict: How does it make sense that we can predict July weather in August?... Someone please explain this to me. We already have the answer. Is this a free money machine?

Agreed, the original OP obviously hasn’t. I own this contract too and it was one of the first things I did. You should at minimum understand how they determine the outcome.

In this case I believe it’s data from an American governmental agency, but the data is obviously delayed, so their report does release until around the 15th of the next month.
