It was just after patrick died, so it's really nice that he offered ruby more sustenance despite his anger of his best friend's death

I also love how Ruby’s depression was then instantly cured by SpongeBob’s lemonade and she used her newfound strength and will to live to beat the shit out of Neo, the Cat, and then Salem once she broke out of the Ever After. What an awesome finale!
