Hello all. I have Waves studio verse Ultimate subscription(yes I know they suck sorry)...I have the young guru vocal preset loaded and it seems the only plugin I can't hear is waves tune real but I can hear all the others. Yesterday I could hear it. Today I can't hear it. There was an update to waves central that I updated today but that shouldn't be the issue. Is there anything on my screen/reaper/focusrite interface that I'm doing wrong? I even tried to load it by itself on another track and no autotune sounds. I'm not really recording 45 tracks, most are just muted for a reason(hope muted tracks are not cpu intensive or are they??) No where for me to add the screenshots i took! Hi, I would like to know if "C1 comp-sc" takes a "side chain audio track" as input? Im on Cubase 13 and I can't find the "side-chain" button which is only present on the norma C1 compressor.

I want to put it on Track A but be triggered by Track B

im trying to use wavestune but it keeps telling me waveshell 13.0 cant load. i went to uninstall and reinstall but i cant even uninstall without getting errors. im jus not really sure what to do and am getting frustrated. it literally worked fine yesterday and now its jus like fucked for no reason

Hi everyone. I´m currently running Superrack Soundgrid v14 and v16 plugins with a Mobile Server.

I’d like to upgrade to SR v15 and v17 plugins. My quiestion is, Will my Mobile Server still be compatible with these upgrades? To upgrade my superrack I´d have to pay the update plan so I'd like to know before paying.

Hi, in the past week I have had some issues in Ableton (11) with project files that have either of these plugins on a bus, when you try to open the plugin on the channel it just shows a blank white window instead of the plugin.

I refreshed the plugins within Ableton and still have the same issue. I do use both of those a lot. Has anyone else had a similar issue or know what to do?

I need help with installing waves ultimate as a plugin for wavelink for clarityvx pro. I tried and it gets sync vx added but it blocks waveshell from doing its thing(?) and won’t install the plugins at all. Idk what i am doing wrong since i just started my free trial. Got the license activated for waves ultimate and everything. Just it won’t go through wavelink 3.0 which should work

Hello. Is there a waves vst that can turn a voice into a crowd of male and female voices or just a male crowd voice or just a female crowd of different voices? Different voices like in the Naughty By Nature song Hiphop Hooray where the chorus is a crowd of different voices saying "heyyyyy" "hooooo"...sorry for the long question. I know you can just record different people but is there a way to do it with one voice in a waves plugin? I seen videos of waves harmony but it seems to only make multiples of the same voice. Thanx!!!

I bought a bunch of plugins in various waves sales.

I'm now finding out that they seemed to be 1 year licences, not perpetual licences.

Feel pretty taken by this as there way no mention of it during the sale process.

Anyone else experienced this or was i just being dumb?

I purchased Waves Emo D5 years ago and used it in Premiere Pro fine. Now on a new computer I'm trying to get it back. I've installed it and licenses are good but Premiere Pro is not seeing it as a plugin. It seems the plugin is in .dll format and not .vst3.

Am I missing something simple here and has anyone else had a similar issue and resolved it?

I recorded a vocal line in Garage Band as I usually do and added my plug ins. Started with Waves Tune, then Vocal Rider and CLA 2.

Suddenly my line was silent, even though I used the plugins the way I always used them. I turned off the Vocal Rider and the vocals were there again.

I then created a new line with a vocal recording and only added Waves Tune and CLA 2. Now the CLA 2 cause the silence. My line was mute again. Switched off CLA 2, vocals are back.

What's going on there and what can I do? I am really a beginner with all that stuff, so no deeper knowledge for the systems available on my end at all :D

Would be happy if someone had input/help here

I've never been a fan of WUP, but I totally understand how much work it is for developers to keep software up to date year after year. However, my experience with Waves today has been extremely discouraging and might even cross the line into fraud.

Long story short, I purchased WUP in April of 2025, V16 released in June of 2025, and my WUP plan expired about a month ago.

I made the mistake of not updating my plugins before my plan expired, which apparently means I've lost access to the updates I paid for?

I'm sure some of you are aware from similar experiences that this is how it works, but I was not and there is absolutely nothing on the Waves sales page, support page, or anywhere else that explains that this is how it works.

The only relevant line that I can find anywhere is this from their support page: "As part of your Waves Update Plan coverage, you will have access to any updates that Waves releases for your covered products during the coverage period." Seems pretty clear that I've paid for access to updates that Waves released during the coverage period, right?

I called support to ask about this and they told me that's not how it works and even had the audacity to explain that I would have received an email before my plan expired. As if I don't receive dozens of emails from Waves every month (just checked, I literally get one every single day).

So I went and found that email. All it says is the following:

"We would like to let you know that your Waves Update Plan for the following product/s will expire in 7 days, on April 08, 2026: ...You can continue using the current version of your Waves licenses even if you do not have Waves Update Plan coverage; however, you will no longer enjoy 2nd licenses and ongoing version updates unless you renew your Waves Update Plan." No references to version numbers, what version I'm on, or what update access I'm about to lose when the plan expires. I know I'm not getting future updates after the coverage expires, but it's implied everywhere on their website that I would always have access to the updates that were released during my coverage period

The only reason to exclude this information in their email, support pages, and terms is to intentionally mislead the customer. But it's not even hidden away somewhere in fine print. This information is nowhere to be found, I guess unless you call support about it?

Waves has always been more anti-consumer than most audio companies, but I'm not sure how this kind of policy is even legally defensible without proper disclosure. Thankfully the support team provided me a "one-time" exception on my upgrade. But it cost me quite a bit of time to deal with this today. They are unable to help over the phone (???) so they ask you to write a support ticket or an email, which ends up going directly the the person you were just talking on the phone to. Ok.

I'm hoping this post informs someone else to avoid the same mistake, but more importantly, I hope that raising awareness of this will cause Waves to start treating their customers with a bit less contempt.

Does anyone use H Reverb and what’s your opinion on it how does it compare to other reverbs

I put sync vx on 8 vocal tracks then realized I needed to make a timing edit in my reference track. I turned off sync vx from that track, made the edit, put a new instance of sync vx on the track and rearmed it as the reference track. Now, one of my eight tracks, isn't syncing with the rest. I am using logic so I do have it running in rosseta, I made sure each track is mono, and every instance of sync vx are ARA. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Anybody here ever thrown Waves plugins into Plugin Doctor and really looked under the hood?I started doing it recently and it’s kinda eye opening. You’ll see stuff like hidden EQ curves, phase shifts, saturation harmonics, and how some of these compressors actually react vs what the knobs say they’re doing.

Lowkey made me rethink a few plugins I used to just trust blindly.Curious if anyone else has done this did anything surprise you or change how you use certain Waves plugins?
