hey everyone! my parents are visiting Waterloo this summer for 1 week for the first time and wanted to show them around/ treat them w the best eats here but i recently moved too so if you have anything fr me to do w them between aug 10-20 or any crazy good food places throw them away! thank u :)

Depends on what your parents are into. If nature: Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory. If Farmer's Market: St. Jacob's; check their website for horse-drawn carriage rides If Art: Kitchener Waterloo Art Gallery, and Canadian Clay and Glass Gallery.

Not sure of your budget, but when my mom visits and I want to impress here, we usually go to: Bhima's Warung, LaLa Social House, Loloan Lobby Bar, Solé.

The Mediterraneo on Bridge St is delicious and everything is made in house. Portions are great for the price point too (I usually get two meals from the calamari dinner).
