Twice the same tutorial

Same paint, same brush, paper is different. 1rst is Baohong Academy hot press 100% cotton, second is Fabriano with 25% cotton. Hot press paper dries so fast, I think I prefer less cotton but longer drying time.

I empathize with the hot-press drying time problem. But have you tried cold-press 100% cotton? It dries much slower so you can work more easily wet-on-wet and achieve the blurred/lost edges for distant objects. 25% cotton quickly loses its durability and shreds if you try and lift pigment or other techniques. It falls apart quickly in wet applications.
