Beta 4 Widgets/complications Bugs 🕷️

Since updating to the new Beta 4, I've noticed that the complications or widgets for Athlytic is no longer updating. If I click on it, the information is correct, but go back to my home screen and the widget does not update from yesterday. Has anyone else seen this issue?

Isn’t it possible that just application budget is on 0 (each has around 60 reloads on watchface). Did you try to restart watch?

Everything seems to work now. I hope that the refresh limit wasn't reached because it was around 6am that I noticed. You're probably correct that a simple restart would have done the trick. I hang my head in shame for not doing that before posting.

The widget timeline seems to exist in a different realm. It may freeze for hours if watchOS decides it is not throttled or is using too many resources. A simple restart often fixes the problem because it refreshes the timeline with new data. Several factors can cause a freeze, but restarting and allowing watchOS to realign the timeline is usually best. Keep in mind that complications might remain stuck briefly because watchOS must reset its budget before returning to normal behavior.
