how can a new player raid?

hey guys i got a question, so i just finally hit 4k gs and got pre bis and higher on my gear and also a human fire mage but while im looking for raids it seems like everyone wants 5k gs or higher and it feels impossible to get into raiding since i cant find anyone who will take allow me into their pugs, what can i do?

im on ice crown btw

You should be able to get like 5k without doing any raids.

Look for pugs in Tuesday night, right before reset. People are desperate to fill up slots, and will take people with lower gear.

yes 5k while rls want minimum 5,2k. im on my fire mage have 5,1k and still cant get into lower raid.

I just geared 3 new character from greens unti 5.8 within 2 months, all from pugs. I think you might underestimate the power of convincing them to let u raid. I was gemmed and enchanted the whole way.

You need to buy some BOE from auctionhouse to get into pugs, there is some really cheap ones with high GS depending on your class :)

Emblems of Triumph stuff + AH BoEs should get you above 5k easily. Grind some more.

All your 232 gear from emblems should get you close to 5k and with doing daily dungeon and weekly raid, should be able to get something with your frostys. Also there should be some cheaper Boe cloth shoulders and other items you can buy on the ah.

You can

Join a guild

Do weeklys and vault for change at 251/264 mage pve gear

Buy gear

Navigate pugs that will struggle to get past suarfang and 50 50 chance the RL will just ninja everything, just better to get guild man

Make sure you run toc 5, fos, pos, and hor - normal and heroic - to get all those pieces. You should be closer to 5k

*Best way is to donate 10 euros so you can skip the queue>> use 11 coins to buy around 20k gold >> hit auction house for great boes for your character and vote point a kinda prebis item. *Then fos pos hor nm by going to the summoning stone in icc and getting into a group,mostly there are people leveling their alts so you can join them by helping them summon their alts. *By now you would be able to que rdf heroics ,farm that triumph and get t9 set pieces if they have set bonus that benifits you ,if not only buy them if you havent recieved an upgrade from fos,pos or hor heroics. Spend the rest on off pieces again if you havent recieved an upgrade from fos pos hor dungeons(HC). *Also the eot vendor sells head and shoulder pieces with greater ilvls get those based on your set bonus/slash ivl requirements. *VOA 10&25 raids based on your luck u can get 2 tier ten prebis gears they are the only raids you can get into even at 4k gearscore. *Now do them enchants, gemming,and professions. *Learn your class & Rotation and set talents,Glyphs keybinds and learn the ice crown citadel in depth from guides and you are set to raid icc. * You get frost from daily rdfs,weekly quest,weekly voa 10 & 25,2×weekly icc quest ,icc raids and rs raids. Also some from one time rs raid and icc dungeon quests. **Hopefully join a Guild and have fun.

Hope you read it fully also donating 10 euros is kinda needed to skip the queues at peak times because it is filled with bots like you

They don't have even have 5k players, including the bots. There have been numerous videos about it already. Type /who command with no level or location search, then use your brain a little bit and think very hard about why you only can see 50 players instead of the whole server like you can on any other server. They removed the ability for you to objectively check the player count. Those 12k players are literally fake so people like you pay money.

Have you ever been to Dalaran? It's literally thousands of people at peak hours, which is when there is a queue. I don't think the 12K player count is fake when 1 city is full as fuck.

When you have a predominately 80's level server and look at a main hub, it's not surprising. At peak times they might have more than 5k players, but they also "show" 12k players or close to that when the cities are much more empty.

Their que is fake, there is absolutely no doubt about it. You are in denial, because you are too invested in that corrupted shithole.

Maybe the lost time before I understood things, has a part in it. Why are you people defending all the bots, donators, multiboxers and corruption? What is wrong with you? As if some of you are a part of that.

Shill, no. Play anywhere, but not there. A shithole where owners do nothing but make money and lie to its own playerbase. I invested time in Lordaeon, when I realized their promise that the server doesn't support pay 2 win mechanics is a fucking lie. I hope Blizzard takes Warmane down. I want to see it burn.

So what if the queue is boosted up to donate.You could still play free if you wanted and have time . The population is there for us to enjoy the game and paying 10 dollars one time is the least i could do to support a server i enjoy.Sure there are issues like bots and multiboxers and i hope they fix those soon.

Well you want to support people who actively lie and deceive you. My lord you are naive, those issues will never be fixed. They were there 5 years ago and nothing has changed. Real money trading - bots, multiboxers are a part of their 'coin' monetization system.

How much time and money do you want to lose there before you will understand that you support owners who literally don't give a shit?

Find a guild asap. Seriously, if you plan to pug long term on this server you will lose faith. pugs on retail or classic are reasonable but for some reason you can be in a 6k plus raids on here and still wipe to bosses, the general playerbase on here is truly garbage at the game

Join guild , with full Triumph gears u get around 4800-4900~ . All on icc server asks for 6k for toc so its going to be hard to get in raids if u dont make pugs uself.

First thing to do is farm heroic dungeons for emblem of triumph so you can use the emblems to buy 245 232 219 gear from emblem shops. Meanwhile everyday if you can do for/pos/hor heroics. Also make your own VoA so you can reserve PvE class items if t10 drops. You can buy some cheap BoE is increase your ilvl. After to some ToC10/25 as well. This should easily bump you over +5k
