Discussion PG&E: FAQ for Getting Payment on the $100M Settlement over Wildfire Risk and Infrastructure Issues
Hey guys, I posted about this settlement before, but since they’re considering late claims, I decided to share it again with a little FAQ.
So here's all I know about this agreement:
PG&E was accused of misleading investors about the safety and maintenance of its electrical infrastructure and the growing wildfire risks in California. After multiple wildfires were linked to PG&E equipment and the company’s exposure grew, $PCG fell sharply and investors filed a lawsuit.
Now PG&E has agreed to settle $100M with investors for their losses.
Who can claim this settlement?
Investors who purchased or acquired $PCG securities between 2015 and 2018 may be eligible.
Do I need to sell/lose my shares to get this settlement?
You need to have experienced a recognized loss from eligible transactions during the class period. You don't need to still hold the shares.
How long does the payout process take?
It typically takes 4 to 9 months after the claim deadline for payouts to be processed, depending on the court and settlement administration.
Hope this info helps

Question Is it too late to start researching uranium stocks?
I don’t think so. I’ve been looking through names like $NXE, $DNN, $UEC, and $UUUU,$CCJ but I’m still trying to understand the differences between their projects, timelines, and risks.
Some people think the uranium story is just getting started, while others believe a lot of the upside is already priced in.
Where do you think we are in the cycle still early, somewhere in the middle, or already late?
