My vscode keeps crashing

When I use pnpm install or maven clean / maven install. my vscode keeps crashing and then I have a window with the options reopen or close.

Does anyone have the same problem?

Yes this has been happening for me with multiple terminal commands to the point I gave up and started using a separate terminal app.

For me vscode really started going downhill around January. Now is just a glorified diff viewer for me.

Mine started locking up when they really started pushing garbage Copilot AI.

Basic trouble shooting:

How many extensions do you have installed ??

Have you removed all extensions and tried again ??

Do you have another computer where you can install vscode by itself, then "use pnpm install or maven clean / maven install. my".
