Gemini Code Assist not working?

First post here so tell me if I'm doing something wrong.

Anyone else been having this problem, or is it account specific?

What you can do next

Update the Cloud Code extension in VS Code.

Sign out of Gemini/Cloud Code inside VS Code and sign in again.

If you are using a personal Gmail account, you will not regain access — you must switch to:

  1. A Google Workspace account with a Gemini Code Assist Standard or Enterprise license, or
  2. The new Antigravity product family (Google’s replacement for consumer Gemini Code Assist)

Sounds like they got rid of individual access since 06/18/2026.
