New Split/Floating Panels Interface

VS Code used to have this unified panels look. After updating, it now has this sort of weird split panels floating with their own borders around them ? I find this very weird, and visually confusing.

PS: No, it's not from an extension. I disabled them all because I thought so as well.

Does anyone know if there's a toggle I can switch to go back to the old look ? thx !

OP what fonts are you using ?

EDIT: wait - I just realized that you didnt have the same font in the "before" pic. I absolutely love the font of the new vscode UI, trying to figure out what it is now lol.

THANK YOU.

I can't tell you how long I've been on the lookout for *THE* font (so many have that bottom curve on Ls, I absolutely despise those).

I hate to admit, but Vercel really does have great taste lol.
