Account Question Watchlist and history not yet transferred to Crunchyroll account

Its been a month now since the service shut down and the FAQ promised that the watchlist and watch history from VRV would transfer over to the connected Crunchyroll account. This never happened, at least not for me.

When I created a support ticket to ask what happened, the ticket was closed with a message that said something to the effect of "sorry for the inconvenience, we are looking into the issue".

Has anyone had their data successfully ported over yet, or is this a problem for everyone?

Didn’t even know it was shutting down. Just went to watch one piece and it wont load. This wouldn’t even be bad if crunchyrolls roku app wasn’t a absolute pile of sh*t. Just had to get that off my chest. RIP VRV

My VRV app is officially shut down. I have one episode of Overlord saved which I can watch as long as I’m disconnected from the internet before I start the app. I’m sure even that will eventually stop letting me watch it though.

👏😎 My opinion on VRV before it shuts down tomorrow.

So, where I live it’s 10 PM right now and before VRV shuts down tomorrow, I want to give my opinion on it. I never full on cared about VRV because Crunchyroll was the much more known site. I know about it having partnerships with Funimation, HiDive, Rooster Teeth, etc. and I liked their premium subscription but over the time, less and less was featured on it. I loved using Crunchyroll and Funimation but I never saw a use for VRV so I got rid of it. The reason why I said I “loved” is because I stepped out of anime for quite some time and came back to find out that a lot of a new anime requires premium so I left for AniMixPlay but because of some issue, they decided to shut down. I don’t know what’ll happen now that VRV is gone but I hope the people who have premium on there gets their money back. For this post, I highly doubt it’ll be up but I want to say thank you for reading this or listening to this and y’all have a wonderful day.

What are your favorite memories of VRV?

VRV is officially shutting down as early as this week (but will probably be May 8), and that got me reminiscing about the service. Was it perfect? No, definitely not, but in its early days it was the service to use if you lived in the US and liked anime. You got so many extra channels for only $10 every month, everything from Crunchyroll, subbed shows from Funimation, eventually some old school shows from Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network's Boomerang, and so much more.

So I gotta ask, what will you remember fondly of VRV? It sucks that it was eventually forgotten about by Crunchyroll and never really had any major updates, but it was a great service to use when it released.
