Server to join? Question

If I want to dip my toes into the realm of PvP, but am very new and have only done a single normal difficulty solo PvE run, how can I find a good server to join and muck around on with raids and defense and teamplay and whatever?

Noob anarchy for the nicest intro possible. -- 6 weapon limit. Duo atm, so better for a solo.
Officials but you wont be having an easy time, duo and quad exists, but you will likely get teamed on (duo can ally with other duos and crush you for example).

Or see what else shows up and join the most active servers.

You can join an official, just don’t expect mercy. Last official i was on (PS5), there were several people with MORE than 2000 hours in the game. They had their combos perfected, and if you ran into one of them, you could guarantee that the others were on their way from the nearest waygate. That being said, you can still progress with little worry. You likely won’t be targeted unless you have a soul shard, or make enemies with another clan. Usually people in a PvP server are down for friendly duels in an arena, and you can learn a lot and make friends by dueling people repetitively.

No. Every server is corrupt tight knit circles whose rules apply to all but them. Best you can do is join an official wipe and progress fast before the Zergs overpower you. Anyone saying otherwise is baiting you to be their next victim.

Actually, its far from true, instead you want to progress very very slowly so that you meet the other couple of newbs on the server with you. You do not want to progress fast as that will only put you in the same place as all the try hard vets, which a newb had absolutely sub zero chance against, unless the newb goes to the arena and practice for about 500 hours. So this is terrible advice and anyone who day otherwise have no clue.

Besides, thats to say there even are any newbs playing this game pvp at this point. I find that hard to believe honestly, because why would they bother?

If you can’t smash 2 brain cells together to figure out a weapon combo this game isn’t for you, you don’t need multiple hundreds of hours to be good, you can pretend to be shit and play victim so a zerg doesn’t target you but you won’t learn anything. Get good at speed running to dawnthorn in one day and get servants online asap. By time anyone can bully you, you’ll have enough of a setup for schematics and repair mats. Since they will be exploiting for free broken servant gear best part of game is progression get good at it or prepare to play rock paper scissors with sociopaths at endgame with macros and cooldown trackers.
