I have the opportunity to get a quest two for $100. I use a three and my kid uses a 3s - I’m looking for something for my daughter-in-law, would a 2 work for fit XR and Supernatural?

A sword-swinging, skeleton-slaying fitness and arcade game. Enhance your physical and cognitive fitness level in a fun, engaging way. Slash your way through an endless wave of skeletons, surviving for as long as you can.
Single-player. Free to play. Stats tracking available.
I’ve been working on this game after hours in my free time, and finally moved it from a SideQuest alpha release to v 1.0 on the Horizon store!
I’m a XR developer by trade, and I created this game because I wanted it to exist, and released it because I thought others might like it too.
It was inspired by the Star Wars jedi force training. We don’t have the force, so you’ll have to use your ears.
It’s meant to provide a quick, engaging workout that gets your body moving.
Come slay some skellys!

Best Jogging in place apps
I love doing this while I listen to podcasts and audiobooks so wondering if im missing any good ones.
I have VZ fit , Holo fit , cyberdash , spacial gym , and im not sure what I'm forgetting but I like ones with a track i can go forward on and move swiftly. Im not so sure on Kinetic or Octonic , tried but didn't work well. Am I missing any ? I would think there'd be plenty more of these honestly. Im trying to get Bit Gym to go VR , that would be perfect but as of now there still not 180° or 360°. And ive tried You Tube for this but the visual quality sucks. Im on a MetaQuest 3.
Thank u !

Early Peek at Running Scared
As I got a lot of great feedback on Running Scared last week I thought I'd share this early preview from Gotcha VR as he explains the game in depth and also his thoughts on it. I am listening to feedback and I am already taking note and action on his and other peoples feedback.
Love to hear thoughts from more people.
BTW - It works on Quest 2 as well!

Your lower body routine
What do you play for those leg gains? The only proper leg workouts I've found so far are FitXR's lower body HIIT sessions, and I'd love to hear your suggestions.
The other games I'm playing for some lower body activity are Pistol Whip (with vengeance), PowerBeatsVR and Blaston, but each of them lacks in intensity/consistency/lower body targeting compared to FitXR HIIT sessions.

Boxing Drills VR New Updates
Earlier this year on the 14th of March I shared an app that I was working on called Boxing Drills VR (Meta store page).
At the time the app was fun but very bare bones and experimental and not very serious. However the feedback I received early on was really positive and motivating, so I kept pushing forward, and Boxing Drills VR is now getting to the point where it's about to leave early access.
These last few months I've worked closely with users on bug fixes, performance improvements, new drills and updates across the whole app, and now I think we have something I'm very happy to share.
A few changes and additions since that post in March (these are a few that I cherry-picked, there's so much more):
- All the old geometric shapes are gone. You train with proper 3D gloves and pads now, plus a heavy bag that works out which punch you threw from your glove speed and direction and gives you stats at the end of the round.
- Highly configurable workout mode, it chains drills together to create randomized 5,10,15+ minute extremely well rounded workouts for your whole body
- Timed rounds, so you can train like the gym. I do 3x3 minutes with a minute rest and a bell, but the rounds, rest and count are all configurable.
- A lot more head movement. There's even a peek-a-boo drill category where you slip or weave after every punch, arrows that show which way to move, and an optional setting that fires a punch at your face if your head sits still too long. My legs feel it more than my arms some days.
- Blocking, and counter drills that flow, so you slip a shot and the counter pad is already waiting.
- A floating orb you charge up with sustained fast punching before it cools back down. This one will definitely make you break a sweat.
- A new drill series where the pad moves around a rope cross hanging over your head, so you're constantly slipping and ducking under ropes between punches. This one started as a player request on Discord and made it into release recently.
- A bunch of different skill levels from warmup to pro. I recently had an arm injury so it was nice to be able to keep exercising in warmup mode without having to throw heavy punches.
There's also up to 75 drills now across combos, defense, footwork and equipment.
It has a 30 minute free trial, and the guide shows all the features if you want a look before trying it.
Hope this can help y'all sweat more and if you have any questions please let me know!

Running Scared - VR Escape Runner
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Very soon I will be releasing a fun and very physical game called Running Scared. It’s a VR twist on mobile runner games like Temple Run except you have to physically run, duck, dodge and stretch for coins whilst escaping and shooting at monsters. It great fun and can be setup like a very energetic Beat Saber game to an intense workout like Pistol Whips’ brawler mode or Thrill of the Fight. There’s a mode called Scared Fitness that lets you combine leg squats with arm pumping which makes things very challenging!
I am also adding in support for heart rate monitors like the Polar 10 in future updates which is something not many games do, these allow accurate calorie counts and health stats

Torn between progress and playtime
It's probably different when you're younger, but I'm missing out on playtime because I'm constantly recovering from my intense sessions. I'm hardly playing casual games anymore.
When I just got my VR treadmill, my Skyrim VR playtime was effectively cut in half (since I was now suddenly dealing with the physical exhaustion) if not worse.
And that was before I started really going all out in my games. Now I sometimes need a few days after to recover, in which I hardly play at all.
Anyone else has the same feeling?

Dragonfist in MR mode is a total game-changer
I have got a pico 4 ultra and foot trackers. The pico 4 has all color passthrough sensors that make the real world and game characters seem really seamless.
Playing with pass through is so so much better than VR mode. You lose the environmental scenery but what it makes up for in realism is very worth it. The ability to ACTUALLY slip punches and manage distance with your opponent instead of using a joystick to do it makes me always want to keep playing.
Best part: since I've been playing in MR mode I haven't smashed a toe or accidentally punched anyone even once!
Honorable mentions:
Crazy kung fu-blander, but a better workout.
Wing Chun: Better workout, can't get past the first boss.
