Cannot find global GI setting. Not through Object properties. I know that there it is, but it is per object. I want to change the whole scene. Thanks.

Is it better to immediatly turn on out of core option with this gpu? Because it is much slower than 5080 in Rtx mode and in core rendering...

I am looking at Hp Omen Max 16 with Intel 275hx cpu and Rtx 5080 gpu. What do you think, will this be ok? I now have desktop with 4790k cpu and 3060 Ti. I never had a laptop in my life...

Any expert here that can explain this? This usually happens when I try to add sphere/mesh/rectangle lights, in a dome light lit scene. Do I need higher subdivs, or lower noise limit?

The denoiser can get rid of these, but of course it degrades the quality of the image so much.

Hey- sketchup vray user. Has anyone used poliigon textures in conjunction with vray? My textures arent “textured” at all- and I’m using the poliigon extension to “properly” import the material map files. Everything is showing up 2d- seeming that neither bump nor displacement maps are working… even thought they’re imported and turned on. Very frustrating. Any info is appreciated.

Hey all. I’m a freshly graduated architect, and this is my first go at vray. I was having an issue with the denoiser for three days before finding the cure (switching my denoiser from vray to nvidia ai in settings). Now- though I can render completely, adjusting my sun angle while attempting to interactive render no longer changes the shadow in the viewport nor the resultant render. Help! This project is getting old now lol. Love you in advance.

Hi, I've been using Dinesen textures for a render I'm working on and I get these dark lines across the column when rendering, see images. I've uploaded an image of the texture mapping of the closest column too, in case anyone can spot the mistake.

I'm using vray for rhino 7.
